Commercial Description:
This delicious farmhouse ale is named for our Jack Russell, who struck by a car, bounced back in fine tenacious Jack Russell fashion, and is brewed for those of us who knocked down, have picked up, dusted off and carried on undaunted. Golden, naturally cloudy, bottle conditioned and dry hopped for a perfectly refreshing balance of spicy malts, hops and yeast. Please enjoy our beers in good health, And look both ways when crossing the street!

330ml bottle. nice golden straw color. HUGE white head, wicked lacing on my glass. Aroma is sooooooooo nice. Big peppery notes. Lots of apples, and plums, and some citrus, coupled with that great saison pepperiness is outstanding! Flavour is so complex. Slight tartness reminds me of a lambic, but its so smooth. Great fruit, and peppery notes. Lots of sour hops. Wow, just a wicked saison. One of my new favorites for the style.

Bottle... Poured a cloudy bright orange with a huge head formy like a fluffy cloud. Fruity, egg-like aroma. High carbonations with flavors that are reminiscent of a floral, fruity wine, as well as yeast, barley-malt and strong spices, very tart, sorta like a jolly rancher...pretty enjoyable.

Medium gold, aggressive carbonation. Aroma is faintly citric with a shot of sourness typical of the Jolly Pumpkin beers I’ve had. Flavor is dominated by sourness, some lemon and orange zest, and an herbal finish. Quite nice.

From the bottle (bonus from mreusch. thanks Matt!) Pours a hazy golden orange with full foamy head that hangs around a while. Earthy citrus aroma prominent. Bitter citrus flavor on first taste. Mellows a bit after a little warmth. Bitter finish. Not really my style, so probably won’t have again.

Golden-orange in colour, large fluffy white coloured head, excellent retention and lacing, carbonation tornado effect coming up from the bottom of the glass. The aroma is quite yeasty, lots of brett, lemon citrus, spice, oranges and peaches. The flavour is very bretty, lots of yeast and spice, musty, orange and lemon citrus zest, herbal. Dry mouthfeel, medium body, medium/high carbonation. Finishes long, excellent bitterness, lots of citrus. This just blew me away. A brett lovers beer. This is what I picture Orval to be like if it were a Saison. Fantastic stuff.

355ml bottle obtained in a trade with <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/ViewUser.asp?U target=blank>OhioDad, thanks Scott.
