Commercial Description:
This delicious farmhouse ale is named for our Jack Russell, who struck by a car, bounced back in fine tenacious Jack Russell fashion, and is brewed for those of us who knocked down, have picked up, dusted off and carried on undaunted. Golden, naturally cloudy, bottle conditioned and dry hopped for a perfectly refreshing balance of spicy malts, hops and yeast. Please enjoy our beers in good health, And look both ways when crossing the street!

75 cl bottle at my garage-tasting 8th. May. Golden color, white head. Aroma is sourness, spices and yeast. Flavor is much the same with fruit and citrus. Refreshing.

Batch 354/355. Pours clear golden, with a two finger cream-colored head, very fine and lasting lacing. Smells of grapefruit, grass, pine, melon and funk. Medium body, well carbonated, tangy and dry. Flavors of grapefruit, melon, hay, and biscuit, has some sourness, and a floral and grass aftertaste with a mild bitterness.

Bottle. Hazy golden colour with a big white head. Aroma: fresh, lightly sour, a bit funky, light cheese, mango, lemon, spices, a bit of wood. Flavor: lightly sour, a bit funky, yeasty, dry, mango, lemon peel, grass, white bread/crackers, fruity but not very sweet. Dry and a bit bitter finish. Lively carbonation. Very easy drinking session beer.

Nose was similar to standard saison notes with a heavier funk and slight horse blanket. Poured Pretty standard for a saison. Taste is slightly spicy, nice lemon zest, pepper, and a tad of funk.

Bottle, batch 354/355:
Pours hazy dark yellow/pale brown with a rich head. Aroma is sourish, funky, hoppy and spicy; smells almost like Orval! Somewhat sourish flavour with spices and hops. Dryish finish. Tastes like a lighter Orval. Very refreshing on a hot day like this (28C/82F).

Source:750 mL bottle purchased in Georgia somewhere.
Glass:Tulip.
Appearance:Cloudy gold pour with a two finger white head.
Aroma:Yeast, bread and spices.
Flavor:Slightly sour, with spices and bread.
Palate:Medium body with solid carbonation.
Overall:Another enjoyable brew from JP. Didn’t like this one quite as much as some of their others, but still a solid brew.
