Commercial Description:
This delicious farmhouse ale is named for our Jack Russell, who struck by a car, bounced back in fine tenacious Jack Russell fashion, and is brewed for those of us who knocked down, have picked up, dusted off and carried on undaunted. Golden, naturally cloudy, bottle conditioned and dry hopped for a perfectly refreshing balance of spicy malts, hops and yeast. Please enjoy our beers in good health, And look both ways when crossing the street!

Bottle, batch 354/355:
Pours hazy dark yellow/pale brown with a rich head. Aroma is sourish, funky, hoppy and spicy; smells almost like Orval! Somewhat sourish flavour with spices and hops. Dryish finish. Tastes like a lighter Orval. Very refreshing on a hot day like this (28C/82F).

Source:750 mL bottle purchased in Georgia somewhere.
Glass:Tulip.
Appearance:Cloudy gold pour with a two finger white head.
Aroma:Yeast, bread and spices.
Flavor:Slightly sour, with spices and bread.
Palate:Medium body with solid carbonation.
Overall:Another enjoyable brew from JP. Didn’t like this one quite as much as some of their others, but still a solid brew.

750 ml bottle. Finland. Batch 367/368. Hazy golden colour with medium-size off-white head. Fruity, yeasty, bready, doughy and spicy aroma. Sour, fruity, malty, somewhat bitter hoppy flavour. Very interesting. I’d love to take another one. But it’s so darn expensive (at least here in Finland).

Bottle pours yellow with a fluffy head. Bready and yeast like aroma. Bready body with a dryness at the swallow. Some spice (orange peel and maybe cinnamon) detected. A bit too heavy for me to feel like other saisons, but still nice.

Bottle.A hazy golden color pour with a huge rocky white head, highly carbonated , lots of jagged lacing left. Aroma is slightly yeasty, spicy with a bit of tartness. Flavor is slightly sour and yeasty, coriander and citrus with a hint of tangerine in the finish, not as sweet as other Saison I have had . Light body with a crisp ,clean mouthfeel , and a dry finish. Very refreshing and sessionable , a very good beer

Enjoyed from a 750ml bottle in a small chalice. The beer pours a bright yellow to straw-gold, with a large white head. The aroma brings notes of lemons, pilsner malt, coriander, and a touch of hops. The palate is pure saison: drying maltiness, citrusy, and bone-dry in the finish. Overall, a great saison.

A 9.4 fl.oz bottle from local K-Citymarket (Batch 327/328). Reddish brown colour. Beige head. Mild applelike nose. Sour taste with some hints of apple. At the end hoppiness. After adding sediment. Hazy reddish brown colour. Sour malty taste. Mild hoppiness.

On Cask at Spuyten Duyvil. Pours a cloudy golden corn yellow colour with a soapy water type white head. Aroma of funk, sour grapes. Taste is a bit watery. Flavour is similar to the aroma. Has an interesting perfumy, slightly bitter aftertaste.
