| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 18, 2009 Tap @ Spuyten Duyvil. Pours a cloudy yellow color with a thin white head. Aroma is very yeasty, with earthy notes, grass, and citrus detectable as well. Taste is roughly the same - classic saison with a bit of a sour aftertaste and a lighter body than I’m used to for the style. It was solid, but I wouldn’t call it spectacular. Ygberg (108), Sweden

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 10, 2009 On tap at redlight. Murky yellow body and white head. Very sour smell, as well as the hay and grass aromas. Very bubbly and dry. Nice sourness in the body along with the typical saison characteristics. Birdiebeagle (809), Perkasie, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 9, 2009 Bottle Pours a cloudy yellow with a big foamy head. The head lasts well. The body has particles floating around. The lacing is great. Has a clean aroma of floral, sour, and yeast. Has a good carbonation. The flavors are good with a touch of sourness. Has a light body. A dry texture. The finish is okay. Aftertaste is very soft. A plesant drinking beer on a hot summer day or when you want something light. LanceUppercut (133), Sweden
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 6, 2009 It pours a cloudy yellow this a compact head that leaves a nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is of leeche horse-blanket and yeast. Taste is acidic and contains unripe fruit, hazelnuts, citrus and yeast. Finish is long and dry. A really good saison! sayravai (3762), Helsinki, Finland
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 4, 2009 (Bottled, 0.75l) Hazy golden with a medium, frothy and lacy head. Aroma dominated by sulphur, but also some funky sourness and pale malt. Sourish flavor with lemony hops, pale maltiness, sulphury hints, and a dry, astringent finish. Light to medium body with medium carbonation. Probably infected, as Bam Noire was quite good. coharahawk (87), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 31, 2009 Draft at Sugar Maple. Pours hazy golden with fairly effervescent white head. Aroma is citrus, funk, grass and some wheat. Flavors are pretty similar with less funky sour notes than the aroma would imply. A little noticeable hops in the finish. For some reason I remembered liking this a little more, but it is still a nice beer. changeup45 (799), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 31, 2009 Bottle from Knightly. Pours a hazy golden color with a huge fluffy white head with a lot of it sticking around. The aroma is wonderful, full of spices with herbal, grassy and fruity notes. Flavor isn’t as assertive but shows a lot of the same with sour funk, citrus, spicy dry hopping while remaining very light and refreshing. If not for the price I could drink this one on a regular basis. I’m really starting to dig Jolly Pumpkin and probably need to do some re-rating of some of my other reviews.
