SuzyGreenberg (934), Seattle, Washington, USA Jun 3, 2008 12 oz. bottle - thanks to drewbeerme for the trade; pale yellow with slight haze and minor carbonation; huge white head that could be scooped out with a spoon; lots of lacing as it takes a bit to settle; aroma mix of lemons, yeast and some flowery funk; rich and smooth with minor sourness and spice; has a nice lemon zest and zing to it; very nice
level4 (17), New Jersey, USA Sep 3, 2008 750ml bottle. Pours hazy light copper with a large white head. Not as funky as it smells but nice farmhouse taste with many spices and citrus tones. Easy to drink. Nice beer. SQNfan (437), Wheaton, Illinois, USA Aug 24, 2008 This poured hazy and light golden in color with a tall fluffy white head that faded gradually. The aromas were of lemon rind, grapefruit, yeast and spice. In the mouth it is light-bodied with lots of carbonation and tartness. The finish turns dry and maintains the bitter tartness from the front of the palate. Quite refreshing if not fairly simple (and given the price I hoped for more). DrDavid (187), , Vermont, USA Aug 22, 2008 (Bottle). Fruity aroma. Light golden with large white head. Very acidic fruit flavor, high in carbonation. Refreshing. Skinnyviking (2635), Copenhagen, Denmark Aug 19, 2008 Bottle. High fluffy but long lasting white head. Slightly hazy light yellow body. Spicy and malty aroma that I cannot quire figure out. Coriander, nutmeg, lemon flavor with a dry hoppiness. Low carbonation and a long spicy aftertaste. matt7215 (562), Cambridge, Ontario, Canada Aug 17, 2008 12 oz bottle from premier gourmet. pours hazy golden with off white head. aromas are zesty sour funk with some peppery notes. the flavours are similar with the addition of some light hopping. very nice but the pepper lingers in your thoat a bit which prevent this from getting a 5 in palatability. very nice session saison.
