Commercial Description:
One of Bam's brown eyes is, in fact, black. When mischief reigns supreme, it positively glows. Dedicated to the dark side; smooth, dark, incredibly delicious as only a Jack Russell with bat wings can be.

I like this one. It is everything a famhouse should be - tart, just a little funky, ending on a dry note. This is all of that. It also has the added charcoal dryness from the darker malts. This works. Pours dark brown with off-white head. Aroma is light brett with some maltiness in the background. Flavor is tart, smoky and dry.

Bottle. [thank you, myrup]
Pours chestnut brown with a small, frothy, off-white head. Aroma has oak, vanilla, some pleasant tartness and light chocolate. Light mouthfeel, okay and with high carbonation. Flavour is softly tart, some cherries, chocolate and plums. Fine for the low ABV, but it should be thankful that the tartness is there - otherwise nothing would be too interesting.

25 oz bottle, Batch 250. Pours a nice chestnut brown body with a firm one inch off-white head that had excellent retention, even without tons of visible carbonation. Really nice balanced aroma of fruitiness and funk with yeast, wheat, a little roast, even a little perfumy hops. The more it neared room temp the more the oak emerges. Big brettiness is the first thing that grabs you up front, just a great dry earthy farmhouse funk that just adds a touch of tang to the wheaty finish. There’s light oak lingering on late into the finish that makes me want to take another sip quickly. Yeasty and wheaty, with a great light-roast coffee like background note that plays well off the lightly tangy finish. Mouthfeel is soft and fairly light with fizzy effervescent carbonation. Very refreshing even at cellar temps, this is a nice beer for a slightly crisp autumn evening. I’m really not the biggest fan of Saisons, but this one just has the extra kick from the roasted malts and heavy brett influence that puts it over the top for me.

Medium brown with a tan head. Aroma of cherries, fruit, wood, roasted malt and mild sourness. Taste is mildly sour and spicy with cherry, spice, yeast, roasted malt and light sweet malt. Finishes spicy and a touch sour.

75cl from Knightly Spirits (Orlando, FL). Pours a dark chocolate brown to black with a thick and foamy tan head. Good retention and lacing. Aroma is malty, spicy, light fruit, vinegar, and maybe a hint of lemon zest. Flavor is much of the same with slightly tangier citrus notes throughout. Medium body with a tart finish.

Where the Wild Beers Are, 2008. Some sugar, and the distinctive, unmistakable Jolly Pumpkin yeast. Brett in the aroma and flavor, but it is not sour. Some barnyard character. Dark brown in color.
