Commercial Description:
One of Bam's brown eyes is, in fact, black. When mischief reigns supreme, it positively glows. Dedicated to the dark side; smooth, dark, incredibly delicious as only a Jack Russell with bat wings can be.

Pint bottle from Knightly Spirits. This beer reveals a massive 2-inch off-white head from a quick and hastily-executed pour due to my zealousness. A richly dark-brown colored body and hugely sour Brett aroma adds to my excitement. Flavors are enticing and refreshing with pleasant dark fruits-the good ones, earthy musk, brown sugar, mysterious grape, and wood chips. High carbonation and medium/full body. This is quite similar to the enigmatic Dark Dawn Stout, yet strangely different. Delicious--another winner from Jolly Pumpkin.

Batch 262, 263. Huge head on a dark brown body with burgundy edges. Both sour and sweet cherries and other dark fruit, some funky notes and a spicy, lingering bitter finish. Really strong initial bite from carbonation but mouthfeel is light overall.

Pours dark brown, fairly clear. Warm, bready smells fill the nose. The taste is effervescent and fully of earthy spice and some faint tones of sour. Balanced with spicey hops. I like this a lot.

Pours a dark brown with a brief off-white head with a malty & lightly sour head. Typical barnyard saison taste but mixed with the sweet dark malt it takes on a sourish taste, like a dark Flemish ale. Chocolate and light spice. Sharp carbonation but thin-bodied. An interesting beer, tastes like somebody added a dubbel and a saison together and ended up with a sour Flemish ale. Thanks to Boutip for the trade!

A nice funky saison aroma, even funkier than i expected, with some great dark fruit esters. A nice funky flavour loaded with plums, and some apples. Interesting stuff, i like this take on the style.

750ml bottle, Batch 262,263. Interesting aroma, fruity, sweet, tart and very lightly roasty, with notes of red grape, black cherry, old wood, slight barnyard funk and earthiness. Deep, dark red-brown in color with a thickly foamy, light tan head and gobs of lace. Flavor is darkly fruity and tart throughout, hints of berry here and there, dry and lightly coffeeish with semi-sweet cocoa and traces of black olive, port and ash on the finish. Very well-carbonated and gently sour on the palate, body is light and airy. Certainly pleasant and seemingly unique.

Brown color with a nice cream colored head. Smell is apples, other fruit, a little tart, and spices. Taste is tangy, fruits, some yeast. Interesting beer. Not bad a little different.

22oz bottle from Knightly Spirits. Pours an awesome dark mahogany color with a densely packed long lasting beige head. Nose is awesomely sour and funky with hints of candied fruits and spice. Heavy nose, almost like an ABT. This beer is incredibly underated in my opinion. Very unique stout like flavors up front with toasted malts giving way to a spicy finish with light sourness. Very drinkably but the palate is very full. This beer is a marvel of design. Absolutely terrific.
