Commercial Description:
One of Bam's brown eyes is, in fact, black. When mischief reigns supreme, it positively glows. Dedicated to the dark side; smooth, dark, incredibly delicious as only a Jack Russell with bat wings can be.

This bottled brew from Indianapolis, IN poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized cream colored long lasting bubbles that left behind a transparent dark golden brown colored body with strong soda pop like carbonation and a good lacing. The aroma was funky and lambic like with a mild brown malty note. The mouth feel was tingly and crisp with a sour palate. The flavor contained notes of tingly bubbly lambic like sour and mild brown malts.

Bottled at Papsoes Blind tasting 19th. June 2008 no 4: Dark amber coloured. Unclear. Dense light brown head. Sourish aroma. Some caramel and light fruit is there as well. Flaovur sourish as well. Citrus and woods is other impressions I get. Is a bit watery and dry. Is watery and sourish in the end with light fruitnotes.

750mL bottle. Poured deep iced tea brown with a creamy, sticky cap of off-white head.. just beautiful! The aroma was also delightful with chocolate and caramel notes over spicy lemon and funky notes.. quite engaging. The flavor had an odd blend of darker malts (the aforementioned chocolate and caramel) paired with sour, funky notes, light wheat, and toasted barley.. didn’t come across nearly as well as the nose.. sour finish with the same dark malts. The carbonation was too aggressive on the palate.. sourness worked OK in here, but it clashed a bit with the grain bill.. drier finish. This was just OK overall for me.

An old rating i finally got to entering. Flavor was really tart and yeasty. Aroma was a little funky. Not as dry as bam biere which was much better i thought.

Bottle batch 258/259. Garnet color with a tight white head. Cheesy barnyard and sourdough yeasty aroma. Light/medium body. Has a citrusy, tart lemon flavor at first, then dusty roasted malts. Very dry flavors. Brett yeast doesn’t work with every beer style.

(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of SoLan/tertons. Pours a clear orangey brown with a tall and lively off-white head leaving some lacework. Refreshingly light Brett aroma. Light in body with dry woody accents, a vague fruitiness and a dry and lightly astringent finish. Quite refreshing. 190608

Botte #4 at Papsoes blindtasting. Cloudy orange red coloured with a huge off white head. Light acidic aroma of rubber and berries with notes of wood. Light acidic flavour of berries with notes of hops. Tart and hoppy finish.

12 oz bottle. Poured deep mahogany brown in color with a large tan frothy head. Aroma of saison yeast, citrus, raisons and a little tart. Taste is slightly sour with brett, but has notes of the citrus and dark fruits. It’s overall a little dusty, musty, and nice. Solid saison characteristics, but a nice twist on the style.
