Commercial Description:
One of Bam's brown eyes is, in fact, black. When mischief reigns supreme, it positively glows. Dedicated to the dark side; smooth, dark, incredibly delicious as only a Jack Russell with bat wings can be.

Brewed in the USA...... Courtesy of fellow Knight AFI96, thanks Waylo. Pours a dark mahogany color with a nice medium off white head. Aroma of spices, tartness, mild funk and pepper notes. The taste is also of funk, pepper, malts and earth. The mouthfeel is spritzy at first then becomes slightly dry at the finish. However was expecting to find some sour notes in this saison, but could not find any. Overall, pretty good stuff ......

Pours a really nice deep brown color with some ruby highlights. Aroma is spice and yeast with just the barest hint of barnyard. Just barely there. Flavor is dark fruit, sweet roasted malt, some cinnamon and cloves and then right at the end this little sour kick. Really nice beer. I enjoyed this one a lot.

Gusher, lost most of the bottle. What was left was a fairly dry Saison with a touch of sourness, decent yeast character but lacking hop bitterness.

Bottle at VV tasting, Odense. Batch 327/328. Pours unclear brown with small sediments floating and a creamy white head and lacings. Nose is very earthy. Some tartness, brett and sweet caramel like malts.Dry and earthy taste. Body is medium to slight watery. . A small disappointment.

"Batch 258,259" / sour fruit and wheat aroma; dark cloudy body with tan and rocky head; sour, somewhat dry, and a bit bittersweet--this surprised me and I liked it! low ABV makes for an interesting session especially as it is not that complex as a saison ought to be.
