Aroma is like an old dusty house, with a bit of potpourri, perfume – green apples and some lavender. Lots of carbonation. Taste is identical to the aroma with surprise, a tart finish. I probably paired it with the wrong food, I’ll try on its own and review again. DeputyAndy (83), New Jersey, USA

Strong nose with the Jolly Pumpkin standard tartness. Taste delivers the same tartness with a slight citrus tint. very light on the wheat taste. A fairly high amount of carbonation gives it a nice pop on the palate. jkwalking05 (1483), Arlington, Texas, USA

Nice big nose of spices up front follow by a greatly refreshing taste with a little bit of funk. Nice and soft orange peel throughout with a super dry finish, you could barely tell you drank it at all. I could drink this thing all summer. CanIHave4Beers (880), Des Moines, Iowa, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 14, 2009 Dammit this is a good wit., I had a glass of this after about four cantillons and some Orval a few months ago and I knew for damn sure that my palate couldn’t pick up the beauty of this beer at the time so I didn’t rate it. Tontie I absolutely get it, and it is f-king gorgeous. Pours a hazy light hay color with plenty of floaties and a nice withe head, without much lace. The Aroma is just beautiful Funky and floral, just enough horse blanket to really tease the palate into really really wanting to drink the beer. The Flavor is immediately spicy and fruity with a gorgeous dry funky character. For those who are looking for a wit that they can stand this is highly recommended. changeup45 (788), Orlando, Florida, USA

Very pleasant aroma here, nice blend of flowers, spices, yeast and malt. This is very light and soft, fruity flavors with a bit of oak and a dusty, dry finish. Quite a bit of carbonation, or a seltzer-like feel. This isn’t great but overall I liked it. Reminds me a little of a nice light dry white wine. Re-rate 9/10/09. Bottle from Knightly. Golden colored, a fizzy white head with a nice layer staying on top. The aroma is nice, chardonnay, brett, coriander, lemon, flowers. Spices mix with coriander fruity flavors and a touch of oak. Finishes very dry and a touch bland. Light, refreshing but still with some complexity. ryanknock (150), San Francisco, California, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 8, 2009 Brewed in the USA...... Courtesy of AFI96, thanks waylo !!! Pours a hazy yellow color with a lasting white head. Aroma of barn yard funk, citrus, yeast and malts. Taste is much of the same, but has some faint spices throughout. The mouthfeel is very spritzy and refreshing. Overall, I am not a big fan of Witbier styles, but this one is my favorite so far.
