| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Jan 27, 2009 The color is a tad bit cloudy with a thin off white head, and some minor spots along the sides of the glass. The nose is full of lemon grass with some floral hops and malt. Initially the flavor is amazing there is so much going on in your mouth. You can taste a lot of lemon and spice blended with tropical fruits. There is also a yeast like flavor that sticks to the sides of your mouth. Overall it has a great texture with a well balanced flavor and great amount of carbonation. Also impressed with choice of yeast since it really makes the beer what it is. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 27, 2009 Pours an ultra cloudy gold, straw colour with an airy white head. The nose lends itself to nuances of tart tropical fruits, zesty, sweet orange, wheat and coriander. The flavour is beautifully tart, refreshing and sweet. The orange flavor comes across as authentic as it does in a Mimosa. The finish is zesty and lactic from the wheat. The impressions of tropical citrus are lively and full. There is also a slight barnyard funk accompanying the taste from start to finish. The mouthfeel is tingly, crisp and medium bodied. Great job Jolly Pumpkin! | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jan 21, 2009 Crystal clear coloured light amber colour with a bright orange glow. Thin white head tops the beer, but the colour speaks for itself. Aroma of wheat, yeast, curacao and a light fruity scent. Pretty nice for the style, but missing a few large whiffs. Medium-bodied; Mild taste throughout - coriander seed and lots of it, very strong up front. Following soon behind with some nutmeg and wheatie characteristics - the yeast is somewhat noticeable. Aftertaste is light and airy - only some of the malt is noticeable, none of the hops and none of the sweetness. Overall, a good attempt at the style - I thought this was better from the appearance & aroma than it actually was. However, all-said, I would recommend people trying this beer. I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased at Merchant’s in Dearborn, Michigan on 04-September-2005 on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. TearsforBeers (173), Ohio, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 17, 2009 Bottle. Pours hazy yellow with white fizzy diminishing head - very pretty. The aroma is interesting, it reminds me of Belgian beers. The aroma has notes of perfumey flowers, cheese, and lemon. The flavor is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, and lightly bitter. The finish is acidic, with some orange juice and peel, and grapefruit. The palate is light to medium, dry, fizzy, and finishes slightly astringent. Overall this is a very good, interesting beer that’s a great deal at $7/750ml fiver29 (730), Cleveland, Ohio, USA

Has an aroma of funk, spices, and yeast. Medium light mouthfeel. Flavor follows the nose with funk, spices, and a light dry finish. Just like the bottle says! Overall a real nice brew. nqualls (1428), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jan 6, 2009 750 mL bottle purchased from Chuck Evans Liquor Store in Bowling Green, KY. Poured a slightly hazy yellow/gold color with a huge, bubbly white head. Aroma was of spices. Coriander and citrus dominted the nose. The flavor was sour and funky, with a slight oaky character. I really enjoyed this beer. This makes me anxious to try some of the other JP brews. Great beer.
