| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 6, 2009 Bottle. Pours a light gold with a lot of floaters and a fast receding white head. Nose is coriander, spicy yeast and a touch of funk. Taste is coriander and a touch of citrus upfront, but that morphs into sour vegetables and funky yeast. Lighter, prickly mouth feel. Not one of the better JP brews. blipp (1716), Newark, New Jersey, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 3, 2009 Bottle from secret santa. This is a beer that I would have never thought to attempt to obtain for whatever reason. I am excited this was sent to me! Tartness dominates the aroma. Lots of oak with really hard to discern spice and fruit. Pours a bright golden yellow with a great fizzy white head that is chillin the fresh way. Wow this is very unique. Initial tartness is followed by some spicy fruit wit characteristics. This is washed away by the rather strong carbonation and only a tart oak flavor lingers. Intersting JP take on style. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 22, 2008 Hazy gold with a long lasting soapy white head. Nose is geuze-light: pungent and tart with leather, must, strong lemon. Flavor is more standard white: spices, wheat, lemon. Mouth is a little over carbonated, yet light, crisp, and refreshing. Finish is short, dominated by lemon. Not very complex or coherent, but refreshing and rather nice. SudsMcDuff (1703), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston, Texas, USA
