Commercial Description:
An artisan white ale brewed in the classic biere blanche tradition. Spiced with orange peel and coriander, you'll find it refreshingly tart, with a wonderful dry finish.

Bottle. Pours a light gold with a lot of floaters and a fast receding white head. Nose is coriander, spicy yeast and a touch of funk. Taste is coriander and a touch of citrus upfront, but that morphs into sour vegetables and funky yeast. Lighter, prickly mouth feel. Not one of the better JP brews.

Bottle. Pours yellow gold with a white head. The aroma is a bit citric with spices and brett. The flavor has a light lemony citrus with bretty funk and a touch of spice. Very well balanced and refreshing with a nice dry and tart finish.

Bottle from secret santa. This is a beer that I would have never thought to attempt to obtain for whatever reason. I am excited this was sent to me! Tartness dominates the aroma. Lots of oak with really hard to discern spice and fruit. Pours a bright golden yellow with a great fizzy white head that is chillin the fresh way. Wow this is very unique. Initial tartness is followed by some spicy fruit wit characteristics. This is washed away by the rather strong carbonation and only a tart oak flavor lingers. Intersting JP take on style.

Hazy gold with a long lasting soapy white head. Nose is geuze-light: pungent and tart with leather, must, strong lemon. Flavor is more standard white: spices, wheat, lemon. Mouth is a little over carbonated, yet light, crisp, and refreshing. Finish is short, dominated by lemon. Not very complex or coherent, but refreshing and rather nice.

Sampled more than one time at GABF 08, slight cloudy yellow hue, with an off-white head, yeasty, brett funky nose of wet oakiness, barnyard, with a wheaty malt accent, some acidic, musty citrus lemon, orange peel esters, with a light spicy coriander note in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with yeasty, funky, fruity, sour, tart character, with an acidic lemon zestiness, and faint coriander orange pulp flavor with a hint of sour green apples, within a wet oaky, winey accent, leading towards a fruity lemony sourness finish.

75 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild brett-ish citric and dry wheaty with a mild spice note. Wineous dry and citric flavoured, lending towards a dry white wine and with a smooth wheaty base flavour. Light spice accent. Light barnyard note on the back of the nose. Medium dry to dry and spiced into the finish. Nice one.

Bottle from Canal’s in Lawrenceville. Hazy light sunflower supporting a pretty tall white head. Spicy and slightly sour aroma. Crisp flavors with a nice balance of herbal spice and fruit and an interesting interplay of sweetness and tartness. Mildly carbonated and moderately silky mouthfeel and a very clean, dry finish.
