Commercial Description:
An artisan white ale brewed in the classic biere blanche tradition. Spiced with orange peel and coriander, you'll find it refreshingly tart, with a wonderful dry finish.

75 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild brett-ish citric and dry wheaty with a mild spice note. Wineous dry and citric flavoured, lending towards a dry white wine and with a smooth wheaty base flavour. Light spice accent. Light barnyard note on the back of the nose. Medium dry to dry and spiced into the finish. Nice one.

Bottle from Canal’s in Lawrenceville. Hazy light sunflower supporting a pretty tall white head. Spicy and slightly sour aroma. Crisp flavors with a nice balance of herbal spice and fruit and an interesting interplay of sweetness and tartness. Mildly carbonated and moderately silky mouthfeel and a very clean, dry finish.

Bottle. 10 cl. sample. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is tart with yeast. Notes of hops as it warms. Same flavour. Finish is a white wine bitterness. Too much carbonation for my liking. 28-10-08.

Had this brew at G.A.B.F. 08’. Aroma is a very sour scent. Color is a hazy yellow with a good head. Taste is sour with a little coriander and a dry after taste. Its an OK White but not one of the better ones.

So pale here is almost a green tinge. Bright spice and sea air aroma. Very dry with a hint of banana, with gooseberry tartness. Good for this style of beer.

Bottle, bought @ Ølbutikken, Cph.
Pours hazy yellow, slightly pale. bit, bubbly, white head. Aroma is nice, good coriander, some oaky tartness and wheat. Not as sweet as many other wits. Rather dry mouthfeel - not impressive in fullness. Flavour is lightly sweet, light fruitiness, good oranges. There still remains some oakiness throughout. This is a good wit, but nowhere near the best Belgian ones.

tasting at keg and barrel, I seem to be drawn to JP beers, b/c I find that they are all solid brews. I’m not a huge fan of wits, but this was extremly nice. typical smell, grassy cloves etc.. taste was tart with a banana aftertaste. carbination was awsome, not too heavey.

Batch 233,234. Pours cloudy straw color with off white head. Aromas of wheat, corriander and lots of JP funkiness. Flavors of wheat, lemon and some sourness. Light to medium body with lots of carbonation and a dry finish.
