Oct 25, 2009 Batch 298 Bottle. Clear liively straw pour whit a frothy white head. Aroma is fresh, crisp, yeast and spice, Flavour is suprisingly funky and sour. Lemony and some subtle spice, coriander comes across. Dry finish with a sour linger.

Oct 21, 2009 sample from the bottle at The 2009 Great Decatur Beer Festival on 10/17/09... pours a clear golden with a nice white head... I can imagine this looking great in a full pour. funky tart aroma with some citrus on the nose... light to medium body with soft sides... some yeast, wheat and orange throughout... nice light sour finish. very well made.

Sep 29, 2009 75 cl bottle ,batch #285.Cloudy yellow with a big white head.Very nice "Gout d’ Orval" aroma ,spicy and bitter,urinal and fruity.The flavor is lovely spiced and sour ,with funk and tartness.I think this is the start of a long friendship .Lovely.

Sep 25, 2009 Cloudy golden orange with a nice white fluffy head. Aroma is orange lemon sour with a touch of spice. Flavor is like a sour orange juice. Bubbly light and refreshing finish. Very good.

Sep 25, 2009 Bottle. Pours a cloudy medium yellow with a huge, dense creamy head.
Aroma is initially spicy, some orange zest and acidic, yeast and dusty brett funk.
Flavour is surprisingly sour. The sourness feels fresh and comes through all the way here. Some definite yeast and funk tones also contribute to the flavour, with a vaguer spicyness underneath. The wheat characteristics are nearly all gone.
A refreshing and sparkly carbonation makes it easy to drink. Overall a good, refreshing beer with some surprising takes on a style that’s usually a tad boring.
