Bottle, 75cl. A hazy, yellowish beer with a creamy, white head sitting on top. Citrusy, bretty nose, leaving most other scents in oblivion. Still, I really appreciate it. The flavor has a nice sourness, citrusy and a tad milky, with a citrus-peel bitterness coming strong towards the finish. And it stays for a good while too, the bitterness. Medium body, very effervescent. A quite lovely one. 090720

Bottle. Split this brew with James and Dallas. Pours hazy, murky golden with a frothy white head. Aroma of spice, citrus, and hops. Full, crisp body with a tart, bitter finish. Excellent witbier; best I’ve tasted so far.

Aroma: Classic citrus & spice nose of a Belgian white, but with a good amount of barnyard funkiness
Appearance: Hazy golden color with a bright white and kind of foamy head
Flavor: Nice sweet and tart flavors mixed in there, some funk, some spice, pretty tasty
Palate: This beer is rather fizzy, but without taking much away from a very nice mouthfeel
Overall Impression: I found this one to be quite interesting. I figured I’d give this a shot when I saw it, and I’m glad I did. Even though I’m not a huge fan of Belgian Whites in general, I surely found this one to be a really enjoyable beer, though at its price point, I probably won’t drink it all that regularly, I will certainly enjoy it again in the future.

Big foamy white head tops a cloudy yellow beer. "JP funk": yeast and woody aroma along with a tinge of sourness in aroma. Light and refreshing with a pleasant sourness. Bubbly mouthfeel with grapes and sasparilla in flavor.

1pt9.4oz bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a moderate foamy white head. Smells of grapefruit and spices. Tastes citrusy, like orange and some coriander, wheat, and a very sour/tangy aftertaste. Very nice beer.

Bright yellow with a thin white head. The nose is full, tart and the taste is sour goodness with a little fruitiness, God I wish I hadn’t burned my tongue on some soup earlier in the day. This is the best wit beer I have ever had and another winner from Jolly Pumpkin. Mouthfeel is bubbly and enjoyable. Jolly Pumpkin beers are not cheap but you definitely get what you pay for and I love the funkiness. Serving type: bottle

Bottle 318/319 shared with the guys at the Inglorious Emergency Tasting. Pours a near clear light golden straw with good white head. Nose is barnyard and socks. Flavor is white pepper, lemony, good sour. Balance. Great large carboantion is like champagne and cuts the acidity perfectly. Good beer.
