An artisan white ale brewed in the classic biere blanche tradition. Spiced with orange peel and coriander, you'll find it refreshingly tart, with a wonderful dry finish.

Poured a golden yellow color with a thin white head. The aroma was of citrus fruits, some spices, and a little wheat as well. Definitely get the orange and coriander in the flavor with some wheat characters in there too. I don’t get much sourness in there like you would expect from JP. It was really easy drinking and full flavored for this style. It had a tart taste and a nice dry finish from the oak aging. Another really good beer from JP and nicely done for this style. I enjoyed this one a lot, it was really refreshing.

Interesting sour aroma. Swirling wheat pour, hypnotizing with that gunk on the bottom. Light like a darker lemonade. Odd aroma on top of the foamy head too, like sour berries. Tart and enjoyable, friendly and fun. That is how it starts off with the taste buds. Oh yes, there is the orange peel, more orange flavor in here than I’ve ever tasted in a witbier. The orange comes across better than many that have a lemon edge. Quick carbonation that fades quickly after tongue impact. Sour smell continues and even affects the taste! Grassy and flavorful like those sour clovers that you can eat. No bitterness detected in the flavor or palate. Almost as smooth as many sour apple flavored soda pops. Certainly is wonderful, as the description implies.

Bottle. Pour is a light gold color with a lot of floaties and a kind of fizzy head. Aromas are decidedly strange. Not sure how I feel about them... funky. Flavor on the other hand is fairly interesting... if you can get past the funk aroma. Mouthfeel is bubbly and light, and there is the JP tartness to it, but the coriander is there and it compliments things nicely. Fruity notes abound: pear and sour apple are the dominant ones.

Pours light gold with 1 inch of white head. Dense, yellow particles float near the bottom of my glass. Gorgeous, sifting lace. The aroma is delectable and mouth-watering. Layers of wheat, citrus, and flowers are easy to detect. Tastes include coriander, fresh flowers, spice, and a slightly acidic finish with a creamy, seductive mouth-feel. Flavors blend well with the medium body. Well-balanced carbonation. Very good.

12 oz. bottle rating. Aromas of sour apple, lemon, and barnyard funk. Body color is cloudy golden with a mostly diminishing head. Flavor is like sucking on a tart lemon. Grape, orange. Finish is quite dry and carbonated, with the signature JP yeast. Pretty decent brew. Nice complex flavors hit the palate and make it interesting.

poured into goblet. pours a semi-cloudy gold with mild white head. just as I was checking the nose somebody that just finished smelling in tasting it with me (joe) yelled out "it smells like a McDonalds Cheese Burger", and he was right. he said that as I was inhaling and could not get past it, it smells like a McDonald’s cheeseburger, the mustard and onion, amazing. on the taste it does not taste as much like it, more yeast, a flat palate, sour front to finish, thruout, coming from the wild yeast and barrel aged, definitly deep and complex
