The pour reveals a cloudy golden color with a thin, frothy white head. Very appealing aroma of coriander, orange peel, citrus and yeast. The flavor is very tart and sour, it feels like lemon juice, the orange peel and coriander are overwhelmed by the lemon juice feeling, it’s very sharp, dry and refreshing, I would be happy to drink this in hot summer days. The palate is a witbier classic, round, smooth and creamy, the carbonation gentle. A very solid witbier, knowing the brewery it’s no surprise! acearl (215), J-Town, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 12, 2007 Medium yellow pour, a lot of long lasting fizzy white head (at least 3 times in a 20 oz glass for a 12 oz bottle,) went from clear to murky as it finally built (at least a coupleof minutes,) lively carbonation, yeasty sediment, evident orange peel smell, much better as it sits, straw maly, light citrus hop, a little spice I guess that is coriander, very tart, dry sour finish. Not my favorite style but a decent attempt. Quake1028 (633), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 10, 2007 12oz bottle into a Weizen glass. Pours a wonderfully hazy, cloudy, particle filled golden orange. Huge, pillowy white head. Very nice lacing. Oranges, lemon, citrus, spice and yeast on the nose. I guess that is coriander in there as well, because I pick up something different that I can’t quite put my finger on. Smells wonderful. Fore of the tongue is astringent, spicy, filled with citrus and oranges. Back of the tongue brings more of the same, with the yeast shining through. Some sour notes in there as well. Finishes very abruptly, dry, clean. Very nice brew. GreatLibations (1447), Last Supper, Arizona, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 3, 2007 Pours yellow w/ a full, semi spritzy froth that hangs around for a while. Residual lacing is exceptional. Huge rocky mounds and a thick, snowy blanket. Like a topograhical map of a snow covered landscape. Aroma is all lemons and perfume. Light to medium nectar w/ an abundance of residual effers complete w/ Champagne streamers. Delicate flavors of lemony citrus juice dominate w/ a perpetual bittering that sets in quick. A mild perfume factor is enjoyable. Slight oak and spice to add complexities. The finish is slightly tart and crisp w/ a perfect bittering agent. Overall: light and refreshing w/ nothing to be ashamed of. markgugs (86), Wood Ridge, New Jersey, USA

A: Poured beautifully with a big, luscious head just like a witbier should, though it went away fairly quickly. Very cloudy yellow/orange from massive amounts of yeast.
S: Delicious smell, loads of orange & coriander right up front. Slight spiciness, slight earthy mustiness to it.
T/M: Flavor switches gears a bit, far more lemony citric than orange. Very tart with an extremely dry finish. Good carbonation and quite refreshing.
D: I probably wouldn’t drink a ton of these by choice, but I also wouldn’t complain about sucking down a half-dozen poolside or on the beach. This is a really nice warm-weather beer. pantani (1902), Salinas, California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 22, 2007 Foggy gold, thin white head. Aroma is horseblanket, yeast, and grapefruit. Taste is citrus, spice, light yeast, and a wheat character to it. JohnnyJ (1343), Carlsbad, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 15, 2007 Nice aroma of grains, spice, citrus, orange, and lemon. Pour is a slightly hazy gold yellow with a puffy head. Flavors of wheat, coriander, orange, lemon, and some sourness. A nice refreshing, easy to drink beer. ChillCoat (1029), Concord, California, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 10, 2007 Bottled. Via trade with drewbeerme. Murky wit shade of yellow with a big, frothy white head. Yeasty aroma with tons of coriander some cinnamon and a bit of orange. Light and very dry with a slight tartness. Lemongrass, oranges, bananas, coriander and spices. Highly carbonated. Dry and tart finish. A very complex beer for what I usually think of as a somewhat simple flavored style. I think enjoying this beer may rely a lot on what kind of mood you’re in at the time you drink it; I’m sitting in my backyard during the late afternoon and I’m really enjoying it, I could see opening it in other situations, however, and being a bit put off by it.
