| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 5, 2007 12 oz bottle, poured very hazy yellow with a puffy head. Dry aroma with yeast, lemon, and "funk." Taste was kind of sour, oaky, and had a bit of wine or something. Very nice and dry, I loved it in the summertime. EithCubes (2167), Indiana, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 28, 2007 Bottle. Lots of coriander with orange peel, lemon, and yeast. Sickly hazy yellow with a very short white head. Tart taste with a little chalk and lemon, light yeast with a smooth, pleasant maltiness. Medium body. Sourish, spicy tang leads the way out. Bit of a dry champagne aftertaste. Decent if somewhat bland for a wit, but I’m already reaching for something else (and I love sourness). IrishBoy (2719), Bakersfield, California, USA

Pours: Straw yellow slightly hazy with a huge billowy white head which lasts for a long time
Palate: Relatively light bodies with the tartness and the medium high carbonation.. a great fit for a summer afternoon
Nose: Floral, base malts, some musty and lemony notes..
Flavor: opening notes of base (wheat like) malt notes with some spicy hop bite with some fruitiness before the the blast of lemony (some pith) cleansing tartness along with some woody notes washes over...
Overall: WOW! what a great beer.. for something under 5% is fantastic... almost like "Temptation or Saison Dupont LITE" so much going on.... a great summer beer... but hey a cloudy day in SF is not a bad choice either.. I would chalk this under another one of the masterful beers from Jolly Pumpkin.. Cheer Ron! HumuloneRed (750), Portland, Oregon, USA

The tartness of lemon in the nose that come though in the flavor with the added complexity of a slight woodsy and spicy character in the finish. Well made beer. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 17, 2007 Updated: May 23, 200712oz bottle....poured a hazy golden hue with nice white head, and bubbly carbonation lasted several minutes….Aroma was of a wheat beer, citrus-like and reminded me of warmer months….taste was lemony-tart, refreshing, dry but without much of lasting sensation. It ended very abruptly in my eyes ….mouthfeel was okay, high level of carbonation but added to its refreshing nature. not too bad of a beer but i’ve had better before.
