Beer pours light gold, very cloudy, with very, very thick and dense head. The head is comprised of variously sized-bubbles and sticks to the glass in a heavy lace. The aroma has a soft coriander noise with sour fruit. The taste begins very tart and a little acidic. Some wheat, yeast, and bitter orange appear in the middle. The beer finishes dry with some hop bitterness, more wheat, more citrus, and more tartness. The after-taste is very mild (tart fruit, bitter orange peel). A rather tart example of a Belgian Wit, that tastes weak in wheat and oat, but strong in other traditional flavors (orange, coriander)

Coludy and yellow with minimal head. Light wheat orange peel and corriander in both the flavour and aroma. Pretty basic example of a wit.

Pale yellow, thin white head. Nose was uninteresting, faint clove adn corriander. First impression was tart, herbal and hinted at dirt and twigs. Did not improve on the finish. Unimpressed overall.

Light hazy yellow. Slightly woody, leathery on the top of the spice. Tart, fairly bland, wheaty. Not much to say.

The weakest of the JP beers. I think I need to try it again though. Props for not being an over the top wit like Leinie wheat that my girlfriend just bought.

Musty sweet nose. Pours golden yellow with a slightly cloudy appearance. Huge bubble production that produces a white foam head. Sharp sour taste with a crisp dry ending. Nice smooth mouth feel. The captain has done a really consistent job in packaging this 6-er. Flavor is rich sour taste, but not overpowering as long as you don’t let it sit in the glass too long. Not a chance of that happening.

Bright electric yellow with magical lines of bubbles flowing to the surface of perfect white foam. Aroma of lemon zest are very abundant. Very dry finish. Mouthfeel of a lambic but the smoothness of a creamy ale. Slight sour apple flavors as well. This beer was an amazing find. Thick laminated label on a 12 oz. bottle.

Pours a light hazy golden with a fizzy but large head. Aroma is tart- lemon herbs, DMS and corn-like with more citrus hints. Herbal citrus flavor with more graininess and DMS, and a tart lemony finish. Nice and clean and surprisingly not yeasty for a wit.
