The aroma was waaaaaayyyy too sour to be considered a wit. Sure enough, the flavor followed suit. I admit I do not like sour beers and this was just too much. Not enough yeast or spice. The sourness just overpowers everything. This is my first Jolly Pumpkin and I’m highly disappointed.

Appearance as a Wit should be, pale and hazy. A light head of foam. Taste was tart and sour. Light Palate. Overall, a light but sophisticated sour beer. AGAquino (104), San Juan, Puerto Rico

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 24, 2009 Pours a cloudy, effervescent straw color with a huge rocky white head. Aroma is very funky, lots of citrus and spice. Flavor is citrusy, spicy, slightly tart, and very dry. Palate is light, and there is just way too much carbonation. Eh. Bov (5514), Bienne, Switzerland

Being as I began my beer tasting world on witbiers, I have grown to truly love them. And this one takes the cake. Its combination of orange, coriander, and sour fruits mixes to make a memorable beer.
