Commercial Description:
Bam is an extra special dog. After surviving being struck by a car, he daily somehow manages to avoid being carried away by the largish birds of prey gliding overhead, riding unseen thermals. Bam's tenacity seems only to be surpassed by his oversized personality. Join us in this celebration of his excess. More malt, more hops, same vivacious personality.

Pours a deep amber brown with a fluffy off-white pillow head. Aroma is surprisingly tart and lemony with some noticeable floral hops. Flavor starts out with a little bit of a zesty tartness that hits the sides of the tongue before giving way to some nice sweet and caramel malt. Finishes hoppy with a very earthy taste. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Interesting take an an ESB bit some different tartness that is much more in the realm of a lambic.

Bottle, bought @ Havnens Vin Tobak, Vejle.
Pours clear, dark amber golden with a great, staying, creamy, yellowish head. Aroma is a stunning amount of Amarillo hops, lots of grass, a touch of lemons. Medium carbonation, fine mouthfeel. Flavour is nice. Just a tad of dry, brett-like tartness at first. Then a great amount of grassy hops hit me. Very nice, dry, hoppy finish. Very drinkable beer.

Flaske. Rigtig flot brun øl. Duft af brett og humle, smagen er frisk syrlig, med en tand humle. Meget livlig karbonering. Frisk øl, meget interessant.

Straight-up brown color with a foamy off-white head that came gushing from the bottle. Smells of grasses, a little citrus and other barnyard goodies. Taste is bold and hoppy. One of the more hoppy farmhouse ales I’ve tried. Nice and smooth, with a lot of fizz dancing on the tongue. Great beer.

Pours a creamy off-white head with excellent lacing. Dark orange amber body hue that is cloudy and hazy. The aroma of hay, flowers, grass, horse-blanket and barnyard were present. There were also hints of plum and apple and spicy (pumpkin pie spices?). The initial flavor is toasted malty with exciting carbonation that fizzes. It has a mild spicy and hop flavor in the middle that finishes with an indescribable smoothness. Very smooth finish, slightly grassy. Medium body whit a dry texture and very fizzy carbonation. Good beer.

Pours a clear reddish brown color with a thick, frothy, offwhite head. Solid aroma of brett with earthy, nutty malt. The flavor has a nice hops presence with earthy, nutty malt and brett, there’s mild bitterness in the end. The body is medium with an oily texture and moderate carbonation. This is a very special beer, I prefer Bam Bìère over this one, but this bretty bitter is a solid beer.

22oz. At the SATRG. Pours a light brown with reddish hints. Crazy massive head with somewhat decent retention. Awesome aroma of citrus, nuts, cheese and something else. Very lasting slightly bitter finish. Up front the tart is there as with all JP. Very cool nutty middle and a great caramel finish with hints of roasted nuts, lightly tart and sour citrus and of course a healthy dose of hops. This is one of their best, very very complex and amazing.
