Commercial Description:
Bam is an extra special dog. After surviving being struck by a car, he daily somehow manages to avoid being carried away by the largish birds of prey gliding overhead, riding unseen thermals. Bam's tenacity seems only to be surpassed by his oversized personality. Join us in this celebration of his excess. More malt, more hops, same vivacious personality.

750ml bottle: Hazy copper hue with an okay head and lace. The aroma has notes of moderate brett and lacto funk and acidity, grassy hops, biscuity pale malts, some grapefruit and dragonfruit, and a hint of grains of paradise. The taste is expected sour and oaky with some fruity tones supported by pale malts. The mouth feel is very sprite and lively, refreshing but a tad thin. Not too shabby, a good summer beer.

Long -lasting off-white head over a clear, dark amber /light brown bodied beer. Citrus hop/Belgian funky aroma. Goes over the tongue like a Strong Pale Ale. lingering bitter finish. Spritzy, medium bodied.

Bomber at Jerry’s. Dark caramel with big, foamy beige head / Floral, tart, apple nose / Medium body, fruity & lushly hoppy, with long, tart, bitter finish / Flavors of apples, dry hops, cherries, caramel, and coriander / A bitter? Only in the JP universe. Perfection.

Thanks to RagallachMC for the 750ml. Hazy orange/copper color with a large, foamy head and no gush (you gotta throw that in for J.P.). Aroma was standard J.P. brett, A bit of caramel and a lot of grassy hops. Very dry, crisp on the tongue. Very nice taste.

Caramel dark brown amber in color with a thin white head. Smell is sweet and a touch funky as well. Flavor is light and mild with a tiny hop presence and yet a touch more funk here too. Overall, decent just not as bold as I’d hoped for.

OMG - I think I’m in love. This beer is a perfect marriage of bretts and hops. Dry like a good saison should be, full of bretts like a good sour and full of hops like an IPA! Pours a copper with minimal head. Aroma is bretts and hops. Flavor is the acidic sourness from the yeast and hoppy bitterness from the hops. Floral hops abound in this one. I can taste notes of hay and grass, farmhouse, leafy autumn evenings and freshly mowed lawns. By the way, this is not a Bitter, but a Saison. I don’t remember Bretts being part of a Bitter.

750 provided by Dalekliz from her recent trip, thank you Liz, I’ve been looking for this for a while, not the style that intrigued me but the brewery’s style. Batch 267, 268. Pours dark amber with a 2 finger frothy smooth tan head. Nose is malty and sweet with some nice funk. The taste is very much a bitter with added JP funkyness. Damn this is a great beer, lots of character here.

Had on cask at Red Light Red Light.Poured a nice copper color with a real thin lacing. There was virtually no carbonation making this real easy to drink and quite refreshing.Had plenty of funk and tartness, almost reminding me of a Berliner Weiss. This was quite delicious and really enjoyed this one.Thanx Brent for bringing this one in.
