Commercial Description:
Bam is an extra special dog. After surviving being struck by a car, he daily somehow manages to avoid being carried away by the largish birds of prey gliding overhead, riding unseen thermals. Bam's tenacity seems only to be surpassed by his oversized personality. Join us in this celebration of his excess. More malt, more hops, same vivacious personality.

750 ml bottle, batch 278. Pours a murky golden brown with a lively, rocky white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is yeast funk, spices, pepper, wood and some slightly tart fruits.

The flavor is yeast, some tart fruits, with some grassy bitter hops and some almost cola flavors at the finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with very lively sharp carbonation that becomes velvety as it sits.

Overall, a nice solid session beer.

From Mix Master Backus, get on the mic. Pours a very thick dark amber color that one cannot see through. The head is small but strong and everlasting. Aroma is a great blend; first a layer of bretty citrus and then beneath that very calm leafy hops. I loved the combo of house brett with non-aggressive hoppiness. Taste is slightly spiky hops which are quickly overtaken by brett, which then quickly dissipates. Oh I could keep on smelling this forever and just gullping it down.

Darker orange, moderate to large head with good lacing and retention. Aroma is bret, orange peel, light oak, citrus. Somewhat reminds me of Orval, I’m pretty optimistic at this point. Unfortunately, finish isn’t that well balanced. Lacks the finesse and dryness of Orval, this is somewhat sweet. Still solid.

Pours light brown with tan head. It has that JP funky aroma. Mild hoppy flavor, peppery spices and a little sourness. Mediunm body with lively carbonation and a dry finish. Another well done brew by JP.

Bottle: Soft fruity aroma with hop notes of apricot and a spicy presence. Fluffy body with a fairly dry flavor. Light cranberry flavor followed by a twiggy notes and a peppery dryness in the finish. Another nice beer from Jolly Pumpkin.

Bottle. Lots of cheesy funkiness with apple and pepper spices. The really hoppy/grassy notes and the perfect use of malts. This beer is no joke. Beautiful JP typical mouthfeel. JP beers are always hit or miss for me and this one is a triple down the line, 3 RBI’s.

POurs reddish/brass, big foamy head and thick lacing. Big bret funk on the nose , lemon, horseblanket, sour cherry. Flavor lacks the sourness in the nose, but has plenty of hop and funk to it. Makes the edge of my jaw tingle, so it must be sour, but it’s not as apparent on the tongue. Alcohol very subtle, probably due to the low ABV. Nice.
