Bottle via jrob_21 - thanks! 75th rating for this beer, 750mL into my Duvel snifter. Candy yeast nose with a a big fruit profile (mainly apple (green and red) and cherry) and hop funk. Spicy and wild, floral components, with some oak for rounding. Pour is a murky, cloudy orange-amber that settles more on brown, with a huge, very long lasting beige head, rocky and creamy and the kind that makes shapes by itself, even creamier than the kind found atop ice cream floats. Very dry and hoppy, the combined effect of prominent yeast and the dry hopping is somewhat harsh. A lot of the anticipated fruit has disappeared, with light woodiness largely its replacement, lesser caramel deep in the bg. Thin body resolving to a mildly bready, dry finish with a little bit of gritty spice left over. Touch of tart acidity is not enough to save her. I’m not a big fan of the original Bam, and this one doesn’t do it for me either - maybe some age to bring out the brett? Probably would pair well with wild, gamey food.

Pour is a dark brown with a tall creamy white head. Aroma is some citrus hops, a little baryard and some allspice. Flavor is hops with spice again and dark carmel malts. Tasty and easy to drink and at only 4.7% this is something you could sip on all day.

750ml bottle. Batch # 267,268. Poured a medium and orangish color with a larger sized off white head. Aromas of floral green bops, citrus, some spices, and some funk. Tastes of floral hops, citrus, caramel, and some spices.

Poured a cloudy dark gold color with a medium sized white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of funky horseblanket, earthy yeast, citrus fruits, toasted malts, a bit of honey, and light spices. Taste of citrus fruits, grassy hops, some pine, caramel, and a faint tartness in the finish.

Thanks to hopdog for opening this one. Pours a deep amber with golden notes and medium foamy/bubbly off white head that left some lacing. Aroma of funky/sour notes, earthy, some hops, floral, citrus, yeast and light wheat. Flavor of yeast, earthy, hops, light oak, some spicy notes, lightly funky, highly carbonated and floral.

On Cask pours a dark amber color with a thick creamy white head. The head laces the glass throughout. Has a nice aroma that indicates some sour notes and mostly malt. I kept smelling this as I drank it. Has a subtle sour note upfront, then moves on to a malt base of a beer, and has a mixture of subtle sour and malt flavors on the finish. Overall on cask this is a very creamy, very smooth, very tasty brew. If you can try this on cask I highly recommend!

Bottle, thanks hopscotch! Hazy brown with thick rocky head and loads of lacing. Lots of silver metallic notes with salt too. Bone dry like a JP should be. Orval-like finish, so gorgeous.

Bottle poured a lightly hazy reddish amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of barnyard, earthiness, light saurkraut, light pine and a hint of citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a lightly dry slightly tart finish. Flavors of barnyard, bretts, lemon, earthiness, light carmel and a hint of pine with a crisp lingering lightly tart bitter finish.
