Commercial Description:
Bam is an extra special dog. After surviving being struck by a car, he daily somehow manages to avoid being carried away by the largish birds of prey gliding overhead, riding unseen thermals. Bam's tenacity seems only to be surpassed by his oversized personality. Join us in this celebration of his excess. More malt, more hops, same vivacious personality.

Pours a hazy copper brown color with a tan head. Aroma is brett, cherries, wheat, and funk. Flavor is wheaty, cheery, and a funky tart finish.

Bomber bottle from Root Cellar. Pours a cloudy brown color with a large frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Good sour fruit and woody aroma. Medium body. Medium sour hoppy flavor with a good solid balanced sour fruit finish of long duration. Another very interesting beer from this brewer.

Courtesy hopscotch. Pours a lightly hazy orange amber color, with a thick medium off white head. The aroma is a little bit mild, some definite spice characters, some funk, and some citrus. The flavor has a good dose of spiciness, with some of that typical Jolly Pumpkin funk, and some citrus fruit with light acidity. Decent showing from them, not my favorite of their brew, but certainly solid.

Batch 278 bottle. Poured a dirty brown color with a dense off-white head that left some good lacing. Aroma of tart funk, barnyard, hops, some light yeast, and a bit of citrus (orange and lemon). Smooth, dry finish with some light citrus notes (lemon mostly) leading into a mixture of funky yeast, crisp hops, and some more light, tart fruit on the finish. Crisp and dry on the palate, very refreshing.

Unfiltered medium brown with a big tan soapy head. The foam never goes away and continues to form unique shapes. Cool looking beer. A delicious aroma of sweet malt, dark fruit, and wet grass. Flavor is not at all what the aroma would suggest. It is bitter and hoppy with a malt undertone and some pepper and saurkraut. It is clearly dry hopped. This is a beer that offered so much for the senses, visual, aromatic, and flavorful.

Dark, hazy, iced tea colored pour with a small off white head and lots of lacing. Aroma of floral hops, sour funk, wet oak, and a touch of sweet malt with notes of pepper and spice. Dry floral and grassy hop flavor with a balance of earthy malt, oak, and brett. Medium body with lots of carbonation and slightly watery finish. Smells like Rodenbach Grand Cru, tastes like a malty Orval. Great complexity and very drinkable.
