Commercial Description:
Bam is an extra special dog. After surviving being struck by a car, he daily somehow manages to avoid being carried away by the largish birds of prey gliding overhead, riding unseen thermals. Bam's tenacity seems only to be surpassed by his oversized personality. Join us in this celebration of his excess. More malt, more hops, same vivacious personality.

Bottled. Dark reddish brown coloured. Unclear. Somewhat fluffy light brown head. Aroma is acidic and sour. Has a somewhat citric touch. Flavour is somewhat woody, citric, has a smoky touch and is definately sour and acidic. Is quite smooth and balanced. Medium to full bodied. Light yeasty and sour acidic end. Nice.

Bottle@Home. Aroma of brett, leather and mint. Light brown colour, off-white firm head, good lace. Light sweet, bitter, brett, grapefruit, light soapy. Dry mouth feel. At first I thought "wow, this is well brewed" but after half a glass I decided it was over the edge.

Hazy brown with a foamy white head. Aroma is funky lemon and vinegar. Acidic citrus, pine, and yeast taste. This is a very bold and interesting beer. I like what they have done with it.

750ml Bottle: Aroma of yeast, spices, citrus, lemongrass, hops, light wood, and light grass. Poured copper/orange/brown in color with a medium-sized, rocky, foamy, dense, off-white head that lasted throughout. Cloudy. Sparkling. Flavor is light to medium bitter. Tastes of yeast, hops, grass, spices, light nuts, wood, slight malts, slight pollen, and a hint of plastic. Medium body. Dry texture. Average to lively carbonation. Light to medium bitter, hoppy, grassy, yeasty finish.

Bottle. Pours a dingy amber with a gargantuan pillowy head that is beige and seems to be sticking around. Aromas are interesting, but sort of faint. A bit of characteristic JP funk with an air of spice, pine and citrus. Maybe almost a faint and funky Pinesol or something. Flavor is a little washed out, but still pleasant and appealing. It starts off as almost nothing, but then the Pinesol and funkiness start to take over. They never really hit overdrive or anything, but they do make this fairly interesting and a bit more refreshing than most of the other JP beers I’ve samples.

Bottled (from K Supermarket Kamppi, Helsinki). Deep amber colour, big foamy off-white head, that leaves rich lace. Aroma is some yeast, strong fruity and flowery hops along with some notes of freshly cut wood. Flavour is big grassy and flowery hops along with some sweetish malts. Big bitter grassy finish along with some soapy notes. Quite brutal bitter.

Uhhh Butter’s 6th Reduction Tasting. Not my usual style, but I LIKE it. A little sour. Alotta tart. Some hops. Fresh tart strawberry flavors. Good beer. Beautiful copper with a touch of amber red in. Smells of fresh produce. Complexity is very good in this good. Refreshing as hell too. Two thumbs up.
