| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 18, 2009 Bottle. Pours a dingy amber with a gargantuan pillowy head that is beige and seems to be sticking around. Aromas are interesting, but sort of faint. A bit of characteristic JP funk with an air of spice, pine and citrus. Maybe almost a faint and funky Pinesol or something. Flavor is a little washed out, but still pleasant and appealing. It starts off as almost nothing, but then the Pinesol and funkiness start to take over. They never really hit overdrive or anything, but they do make this fairly interesting and a bit
more refreshing than most of the other JP beers I’ve samples. shawnm213 (992), South Bend, Indiana, USA

Alotta tart. Some hops. Fresh tart strawberry flavors. Good beer. Beautiful copper with a touch of amber red in. Smells of fresh produce. Complexity is very good in this good. Refreshing as hell too.
