Commercial Description:
Bam is an extra special dog. After surviving being struck by a car, he daily somehow manages to avoid being carried away by the largish birds of prey gliding overhead, riding unseen thermals. Bam's tenacity seems only to be surpassed by his oversized personality. Join us in this celebration of his excess. More malt, more hops, same vivacious personality.

Bottle at City Beer Store in SF. Weird, this is like a mix between a bitter and a saison. Brown color with a white head. Aroma of funk, malt, and some hops. Flavor starts like an English bitter, then goes slightly sour with caramel malt and a somewhat muted hop finish. Bitter taste lingers afterwards.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy and deep amber with a huge, beige head. Nice lacing. Nose of malt, citrus and hops. Flavour with malt, fruit and smokey notes. Light to medium bodied. Good and light bitter finish. Well balanced. Crisp and enjoyable.

Don’t know how old the bottle was, but a great deal of the funk had mellowed into a nice Belgianish ale. Light and tasty. A Bitter? Maybe on another planet.

Deep ruby in colour with a long lasting large beige head, excellent lacing. The aroma is herbal, very fresh, floral, grassy with a light sourness. Flavour is a little bit sour but still has a good bitterness, lots of citrus, some yeast, herbal with a small amount of spices. Lightly bitter mouthfeel, medium/light body, high carbonation. Finishes long, bitter with lots of citrus.

A pretty good bitter, lots of citrus and quite refreshing. A little weird but nothing out of the ordinary from Jolly Pumpkin.

750ml bottle from Sahara Mart in Bloomington, Indiana.
Opened on November 8, 2008.
Batch 267, 268.

Bottle at Alvinne pre-ZBF09. Weak hoppy, teaish aroma. Hazy dark amber colour. Small white head. Weak caramelly flavour.
