Brown color with a white head. Aroma of funk, malt, and some hops. Flavor starts like an English bitter, then goes slightly sour with caramel malt and a somewhat muted hop finish. Bitter taste lingers afterwards. SudsMcDuff (1691), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston, Texas, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 29, 2009 Deep ruby in colour with a long lasting large beige head, excellent lacing. The aroma is herbal, very fresh, floral, grassy with a light sourness. Flavour is a little bit sour but still has a good bitterness, lots of citrus, some yeast, herbal with a small amount of spices. Lightly bitter mouthfeel, medium/light body, high carbonation. Finishes long, bitter with lots of citrus.
A pretty good bitter, lots of citrus and quite refreshing. A little weird but nothing out of the ordinary from Jolly Pumpkin.
