It could actually get on the internet after 12 minutes and found that I hadn’t had this beer before, so I snatched it up. Pours out a brownish color with a tan colored MASSIVE head. It took about 10 minutes to get this beer poured into two glasses. Smell is tart, yeast, and plenty of hops? Grassy and smells like hay. Good smelling beer. Taste is sweet with no presence of alcohol at all. Tart in the finish yet very refreshing. I liked this one, quite a bit, perhaps the best of the weekend. Good stuf. Better than the regular Bam, at least, in my opinion. 00cobraR (1098), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Mar 10, 2009 $9.99 750ml bottle. I gave this a shot based upon good experience with bam biere and a disappointing experience with bam noire. This was the best bam in my opinion. Nice vinegar and dill smell. My friend said it smelled like pickle juice, nice! The flavor was grassy, oddly funky but not sour at all. It was very zesty and refreshing without really being spicy. I really couldn’t discern the hop flavors but this was a very good beer. I went back a couple days later and bought another bottle which I promptly drank. This is good beer.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 7, 2009 Thanks to the anonymous donor on the parking lot!! Marks for appearance as average, tasted under dark conditions. Winey, fruity nose, with quite some exotic fruit. Sour-sweet, bit of hops and lots of fruity esters. Seems a jumble for a while, then all flavours come into balance, with just a touch of bitter at the end. Pretty fizzy, medium bodied. Not the kind of usual fruity beer, but quite OK in a weird way. chef201atc (249), Weatherford, Texas, USA
