Marks for appearance as average, tasted under dark conditions. Winey, fruity nose, with quite some exotic fruit. Sour-sweet, bit of hops and lots of fruity esters. Seems a jumble for a while, then all flavours come into balance, with just a touch of bitter at the end. Pretty fizzy, medium bodied. Not the kind of usual fruity beer, but quite OK in a weird way. chef201atc (249), Weatherford, Texas, USA

Pours dark brown, with thick creamy coffee/tan like head. Poured very lively head. Even 1/2 way through this beer kept foaming out of the bottle.
Aroma has a good nose of hops with yeast that have the usual JP scent. This time it seems more attenuated (maybe because bottle has been aged some) light wood/malt aroma.
Taste remains highly drinkable and light.
The sour side remains light and tasty, there are notes of sour apple, some wood coupled with some hops for a light bitter mouthfeel..
At times the finish feels as if the abv is slightly over 4.7%
