Commercial Description:
Bam is an extra special dog. After surviving being struck by a car, he daily somehow manages to avoid being carried away by the largish birds of prey gliding overhead, riding unseen thermals. Bam's tenacity seems only to be surpassed by his oversized personality. Join us in this celebration of his excess. More malt, more hops, same vivacious personality.

Thanks to the anonymous donor on the parking lot!! Marks for appearance as average, tasted under dark conditions. Winey, fruity nose, with quite some exotic fruit. Sour-sweet, bit of hops and lots of fruity esters. Seems a jumble for a while, then all flavours come into balance, with just a touch of bitter at the end. Pretty fizzy, medium bodied. Not the kind of usual fruity beer, but quite OK in a weird way.

Cloudy deep orange/amber pour. Huge, long lasting head. Funky and spicy nose, with a bit of dankness in the background. Flavor is slightly tart and funky with a dry finish. Overall another very nice beer from Jolly Pumpkin.

(Bottle, batch 288/280, on 2009-02-18) Dark brown and hazy. Large tan coloured head that doesn’t last long. Sour and citric aroma with some malty and raisiny notes. Full bodied and dry palate with medium carbonation. Sourness, bitterness, malts, fruitiness, bit of raisin and tiny amount of sweetness in taste. Sour and bitter aftertaste.

Bottle. Tre Små Rum. Gothenburg. Pale brown colour with an off-white head. Sour, yeasty and a bit fruity aroma. The taste is sour, dry and a bit watery, notes of lemon peel, wood, fruit and some hop bitterness in the finish. Not very complex. More of a Farmhouse Ale and not a Bitter.

From bottle courtesy of dpjuart. Batch 267,268. Very mild aroma, a little malt character and very little hops. Mild cherry. Copper amber clear with thin off-white lacing head. Watery body with medium carbonation. Starts dry with light nutty character and a bit of cherry. Light hoppy finish with a bit of astringency.

batch#278 Pours dark brown, with thick creamy coffee/tan like head. Poured very lively head. Even 1/2 way through this beer kept foaming out of the bottle. Aroma has a good nose of hops with yeast that have the usual JP scent. This time it seems more attenuated (maybe because bottle has been aged some) light wood/malt aroma. Taste remains highly drinkable and light. The sour side remains light and tasty, there are notes of sour apple, some wood coupled with some hops for a light bitter mouthfeel.. At times the finish feels as if the abv is slightly over 4.7%
