| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Dec 26, 2008 Batch 7. Pours a red tinted clear light brown with fine frothy white head. Love the aroma, very woody, lightly acidic, hint of funky cheese, varnish, and some tart fruits, maybe cherries. Flavor is sooo mild, very drinkable and sooo good. Perfect moderate amount of cheesy funky woody light tart sourness. Great body, medium light and very crisp. Fantastic beer. BeerBaron617 (306), Novi, Michigan, USA

Second, This stuff is epic. I really dont know how to describe it. Its sweet, yet sour, and dry, yet drinkable. It smells like a good chardonay, and with all that going on its perfectly balanced. I can honestly say Ive never had anything quite like this. Cheers, and thanks to my dad and sister for picking out a perfect christmas time brew. Cheers! DrDavid (957), Johnson, Vermont, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 18, 2008 Flaske.

aroma is spicy sourish, not that strong. citrussy notes in there.
appears unclear red brown, large head.
flavor is sort of like beer and sour fruit beer mixed, aftertaste gets dry then sweeter like apple. not much acid, but the sourness is nice and refined, alc. well hidden.
