750 ml bottle, drunk from a pilsner glass. Gorgeous opaque caramel color, which sort of doesn’t match the taste, but does match the general style. Aroma is moderately malty with a light hop touch. Majority of aroma is must, with some oak and toffee undertones. Head is large, off white, and slightly rocky. Flavor is moderately acidic, some pepper, and some sourness. Medium body, smooth, quite dry upon finish. Quite refreshing. Excellent beer.

750ml Bottle: Aroma is spicy and medium sweet. Smells of Marsala wine, spices, yeast, champagne, wood, Piccatta, black pepper, and must. Poured a light orange/amber color with a huge, dense, off-white head that lasted throughout. Good lacing. Cloudy. Very sparkling. Flavor is medium sweet and lightly bitter, and very odd. Tastes of Marsala wine, spices, black pepper alcohol, fruit, and a couple of things I cannot quite identify. Medium body. Dry, fizzy texture. Fizzy carbonation. Very dry finish. Overall, not very good. As I find with most JP brews, very overcarbonated.

Bottle at Chris_o Shindig. Hazy gold, lasting beige. God it’s funky sour, but not over the top. That is good. Good funk, good hop, little empty on malts, good lemon. Excellent.

Bottle@chris_o. Sweet, apple, bit funky. Hazy, dark yellow color, off-white head, good lace. Light sweet, citric sourness, nice funky hops and some citrus. Hoppy dry mouthfeel. You have to get used to it but then suddenly it graps you.

Bottled - Chris O shindig 2007 - A hazy light brown coloured beer with an off white head. The aroma is spritzy funky and peppery. The taste has brett character with pepper and sour notes. Not bad.

A Mes rate: Bottle at Chris O’s Shindig. Dark amber with a white head and lace. Malt and wheat aroma. Very medicinal. Clean hoppy flavour. Grassy and well balanced. Good body. Tasty brew.

750 ml in Duvel glass. Pours hazy reddish amber with lasting off-white head and lace. Aroma of fresh bread and sour cherries. Flavors of cherry tobacco with a dry hoppy bitter clean finish. Medium-light body, medium-high carbonation. Refreshing and delicious and not unnecessarily strong. Maybe Jolly Pumpkin’s best. I will drink this again.
