I was taken aback by this beer. To me, it was extremely funky and different. Perhaps it was the combination of all the yeast and spices and oak, but it had a soapy-cheesy flavor to that kinda bothered me. It was sweet, but very spiced up. Very different. Perhaps I was just not appreciating it but I had a hard time getting through the bottle, which I had to finish because my friends wouldn’t drink it.

bottle: pours a cloudy golden apple juice colour with a very large foamy white headwith some lacing. aroma is sour, sweet almost green grape like, apple, yeast and some spice, also some lemon i believe. flavour is bitter sour apple funk. a slight spice in the finish. ends very drying and just a bit sour. awesome beer.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange/amber with a very large long lasting rocky off-white head that leaves great lacing. Aroma is slightly acidic and spicy with hints of black pepper, rotten citrus peel, vinegar, and spicy & floral hops. Taste is the same as aroma. Medium thin mouthfeel that finishes dry, slightly tart, and spicy. Another wonderfull brew from JP.

Bottle. Pours an orangish color with a nice head. Very floral aroma. Was very peppery which I wasn’t a fan of.

Pours a pretty orange brown with a big white head. Spicy aroma with hints of citrus. Pepper and spice dominate the taste with slight malty finish. Lots of carbonation. Wasn’t that impressed.

The aroma is floral, yeasty, malty, spicy, and hoppy with some citrus. The appearance is deep amber gold with a nice foamy head. The flavor is just like the aroma with the peppery grains of paradise making their presence known. The palate is typical for the style. Overall it’s interesting.

quite an exquisite floral hoppy beer, the aroma is citrusy with shades of roses, grass. It looks and pours great, the taste is a tad tart but not sour by any means.

looks like an IPA i guess, smells sour like a jolly pumpkin. tastes like a jolly pumpkin with a bit of hops... delivers on its promise. it’s hard to say much about these because they’re so unique and one dimensional. good, anyways
