750ml bottle. Pours hazy reddish copper with an off-white head. Aroma is corriander, yeast, other spices, and sour citrus. Initial taste is spicy, earthy, and corriander followed by a funkiness with horseblanket and barnyard aspects. Finish is spicy hops. Full mouthfeel. Really good.Old rating, just added.

750ml bottle brought back from Chicago. A great belgian style pale ale. Nice malt backing, some spiciness, mild funkiness and sourness, and a big flavorful, hoppy finish. This is an amazing session beer.

Second brew sampled at joebrew’s Friday evening beer tasting at Cellars. Pours a burt golden yellow brew with a thick foamy off white head with excellent retention. Around of floral hops, citrus (lemon) peel, and some light vanilla. Taste is like a Flemish sour but with more yeast and esters with extra carbonation. Finish is slightly sour and tart with some spice aftertaste.

Murky copper color with a thick head. Musty coriander aroma and something almost smells pickled. The taste is extremely bitter and puckering right away. Dry wheat and lots of spices. I almost think I can taste cranberries.

Bottle. Pours cloudy copper/amber. A very unique nose: barely any of the bright, citrusy sweetness I’m used to in JP beers. Hints of cedar wood, musty basement and sour yeast. There’s a bit of a sourdough bread component, too. Fairly lively carbonation. Nice balance of of spice, sweet and dryness on the palate. Notes of pepper, citrus and new oak. Finishes fairly dry.

Hazy golden-orange pour with a substantial fizzy head. Aroma has some nice citrus, spice, yeast, and light breadiness. Taste is a really nice blend of bread, orange, a pleasant hop bite. This one is really nice. JP does a great job as always.

Slightly clear orange beer with a white head. Smells sour and bready. Almost biscuity. Almost Saison like flavor. Sweet and sour. The finish is really bitter. I didn’t expect such a bitter finish.

A cloudy yellow appearance with a large white head. An herbal, lemon, and banana filled aroma. This one was very carbonated and sour with some vinegar and lemon notes. A spicy and sour finish. Nice one.
