Over carbonated. Spicey with a lime sourness. I drank this a couple weeks ago and forgot to log it here. Will rate again. Holy crap this thing smelled like rotton eggs.

Wow! Carbonation on top of carbonation! Massive head and a bottle that overflows with bubbly right after openeng. Color is a deep dark honey with quite a bit of suspended stuff floating around. Scents of yeast and spices that I haven’t quite figured out... a little soapy. Honey sweetness is definitely present, with bit of clean citrus in the background. Spices are strange in that the are detectable more right upon opnening and then very faintly in the finish, but I’ll be dipped if I can figure out what they are. Maybe some chamomille? Enjoyable, but a little thin.

The carbonation on my bottle was going nuts. I had to pour off at least 12oz to stop it from coming out of the top of the bottle. Pours orangish, with off-white head. Earthy spice and hops in the nose. Fairly smooth with tastes to match the nose.

If a gueze was what they were after on this one then they succeeded. Low carbonation, musty yeasty palate with a definite pronounced dryness. While refreshing, I felt this brew lacked the complexity to garner such a high rating.

Hazy dark yellow color with big light tan head. Aroma is very musty, notes of honey, vinegar, oak, leather. Flavor is acidic, slightly malty, touch of honey and herbal hops.

Bottle. Small off-white head that mostly diminished, transparent, no visible carbonation, and a golden hue. Nose was oranges, sweet, spicy, and some alcohol notes. Flavor was sweet, lightly bitter, dry, oranges, and to a point astringent. Tingly, fizzy palate. Light-medium body.

Thanks Phil (Philip)! This beer has a very interesting and unique aroma and taste. The aroma consists of the fragrances: lime, hops, wheat, butter, citrus, and slight menthol notes. It is a cloudy bronze colored solution with a thick off-white head that fades leaving heavy lacing. This moderate bodied beer has a smooth and sweet disposition. The flavors of hops, pine, and lime can be detected. This beer exits the mouth leaving a lime/citrus taste lingering.

Bottle. Pours a coppery orange with good sized foamy white head. Aroma is a bit grainy with citrus. Taste is fruity with spices and a nice floral finish. Nice beer, but I didn’t think as much of it as some did. I will re-try it someday.
