Courtesy beerlando. Thanks again Bryan for sharing this!! Pours a slightly hazy orange, with a small white head. Smells of that typical Jolly Pumpkin funk. Man i love that!! Some citrus fruits, tartness, and light bourbon are noticeable. Once again the bourbon is no match for the funk. I got alot of oakiness in the flavor. Definitely a little tart, but I wouldnt call it sour. Another very flavorful and well done brew.

RBSG 07 Minneapolis Grand Tasting: Gold copper color, light head and lacing. Nose of spice and yeast, hoppy resin and sweet beautiful wheat notes. The flavor is really dry and grassy. Super funky finish, a bit too dry.

Courtesy boboski. Hazy orange with a few white bubbles on top. Aroma is sharp, fragrant, spicy (white pepper), dusty/musty funk, floral sweetness, lightly woodsy, citrus, herbs (menthol?). Awesome nose. Brett paramount in the flavor with a nice dose of crisp, grassy hops, and the same elements as the aroma. Finish is dry, sour, lightly bitter. Medium body, lightly carbonated. Flavor is sharp so the lack of gas works well. Very nice.

Split a Luciernaga Grand reserve bottle next to a regular version with Axilla. This had a quickly diminishing head. Very surprised to see it was aged in a Bourbon barrel. I didn’t get any bourbon out of it at all. It still was a very earthy and barnyard brew. Compared to the regular version, it had a crisper fresh feel and overall was better. There was certainly no huge difference.

Bottle from trade with kmweaver. Thanks Ken! Pours a hazy light amber color with a small off white head. Aroma of oak, spices and corrinader. Taste is fruity, slightly bitter and woody. Has a dry light lemony bitter finish.

Bottle. Head is initially small, fizzy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy medium amber, bottle conditioned. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain, caramel), lightly yeasty (cobwebs, barnyard), with light notes of sherry, apple skin, autumn leaves, hint of bourbon? Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Not much to say...sour and not much of an aroma.
