12oz bottle, Batch 130/131--"oak aged 21 months"--thanks Kan (pantanap) for the bottle. Clear orange with a one finger creamy yellow white head after a vigorous pour. Aroma has some buttery brett up front, dry oak, some acetone, and some pils malt, maybe? Not too acidic, though a little white wine vinegar is present. Flavor has stronger acetone flavors yet, as well as a little more vinegar. The acetone didn’t bother me as much in the aroma, but I’m not digging it in the flavor. Also, it seems there’s a bit of an over ripened fruit sweetness towards the finish that is reminiscent of Duchess Bourgogne, which was the only thing keeping me from liking that beer. I can’t really pick up on any bourbon. The finish is semi-dry and sourness peaked at a 3-4 or so. Minimal carbonation with a medium full body. I’m not understanding the rave reviews.

Batch 130/131 thanks to americanbrew. Poured a smallish head over a pleasant golden body. Aroma was sour, cherries, and a bit of sweetness. Flavor was bitter, funky, and some barnyard with a nice alcohol finish.

Labeled Batch 130/131. Thanks to AmEricanbrew. Pours with a small, off-white head over a hazed golden body. Great lace. Aroma is oaky with vanilla, funk, grapes, caramel and bourbon. Taste is ultra sour with a nice caramel and vanilla backbone. Light carbonation, great!

Cloudy amber with a small off-white head. Intense vanilla and bourbon-like oak aroma, with wine, balsamic winegar and something solvent-like except, it’s not unpleasant at all. Sweetish, but tart flavour spicy with vinegar and tannin notes.

35,5cl bottle from Olbutikken, Copenhagen. Pours a unclear golden with a bubbly white head. Aroma is strong and promising. The nose is full of oak, vanilla, alcohol and some acetone tartness. Vinous and sweet. Smooth mouthfeel. Taste is vanilla, oak and red wine again with a slight sour and refreshing note . Nice.

12oz bottle. Pours a completely hazy pale orange with a small off white ring.Nose is very oaky and tart citrus. Flavor is also very tart and sour with hints of citrus, oak and vinegar. As the warmed the flavor started to sweeten up a bit, not much, but a little. Glad I finally got to try this brew.

Thanks to Northernbrews for this! Pours golden orange with a smallish white head. Aroma is tart yeast, fruit, oak and lemon zest. Flavor is fairly sour with a fruity sweetness coming through. Has some of the barrel character. Nice brew, thanks man!
