| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 1, 2009 Bottle. Pours black with a roasted brown head. Sour cherry nose with some smoke to it. Flavors are sour, mostly cherry. Roasted malts still come through nicely. Almost a vinegar flavor at times. A different stout, definitely outside the bottle. Worth a try. SHIG (2044), Aviano, Italy

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 19, 2009 Shared with Pwn3d & Co. in Montreal during Beerquest 2009. Surprising in every way. Had difficulty managing the carbonation, which was huge. Tart flavor for a stout, quite bitter but extremely rich in composition. emacgee (1892), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Mar 16, 2009 2007 bottle. Pours a dark brown/black that allows some light. The head is two fingers thick creamy tan. The nose is oaky, nice barrel character, chocolate, roasty, yeasty. The flavor is tannic, tart, fruity chracter, yeasty, nice oak feel, mildly tart, stout doesn’t come through much but still tasty. Tart and tannic on the mouth. tsetlock (66), Livonia, Michigan, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 11, 2009 Thin brown head held with some carbonation behind it. A black beer. Huge dusty aroma like breathing coffee dust with a bit of raisins. A very strong alcholic taste.

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 6, 2009 A deep dark clear stout with a thin moka head. A funkey stout with chocolate and Brett, a charm in the mout. In mouth, a striking sourness, chocolate, light smokeyness. An intriguing stout. Tasted at Mondiale 2007. pantanap (1369), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Mar 2, 2009 Sampled at tasting session in Montreal. Courtesy of COBrien. Big mocha-colored head- absolutely sexy. The aroma is Jolly Pumpkin tart, not your normal stout. Taste has the sweet/sour tartness followed by a slight roasted malt finish. Incredible. Allagash ’Black’ is the only thing I could compare this to, although I think this just nudges it out. *Batch 265*
