Bottle. [After party @ Papsoe, thanks buddy] Hazy dark amber color. Aroma of strong bratt, fruit, malt. Over the palate note that sour with good counter sweet fruit and toasted malty notes. Mild floral and hint of spicy feel. Medium bodied with an average carbonation. Moderated sour and sweet flavor. Spicy sour and sweet lingering finish. Quit nice.

Thanks to RagallachMC for the bottle (750ml). Batch (blend) 3. Hazy burnt orange color with a large head. Aroma of brett and malt with a lot of fruitiness (apricot, pear and cherry). Some spiciness in the taste, as well as a little oak. Tangy texture, dry with a lot of fruit/ funk.

750 ml. YUM! Big malty beer with lots and lots of spice notes that tingle the palate while getting hit simultaneously with a blast of oaky goodness! Small hints of possible cherry notes, and overall, a nice big tartly sour finish. One of my favorite from JP!

Deep copper brown, brief scanty head. Very skunky sour aroma. Sour cherry, funky earthy hops, spicey, very woody, puckeringly tart finish. I’ve had a few sour ales recently, and they can be hard to sort out on the palate, but this came across as having a bit more spicey and woody character rounding out the sour tartness. Interesting and delicious, but not for everyone (half the table turned away from this one!).

Bottle from Pailhead. Thanks! Poured muddy brown (though I got the end of the bottle) with a big head. Light retention and excellent lacing. Funky, citrus aroma with notes of horse blanket, lemon, grapefruit and caramel. Very smooth. 7/4/8/4/16

750 mL bottle courtesy of a friend. Pours a clear vibrant red color with a large head. Good head retention and lacing. Fairly funky aroma with a cherry and berry notes, almost like mixed berry lifesavers. Taste is also funky with the same berry lifesavers, citrus, cheese. Slightly vegetal. Soft, lively carbonation. Full bodied. This really hit the spot. 9/4/8/4/17
