| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 11, 2009 Pours a slightly hazy gold with a tall white head. Very Belgian-like aroma, sweet and tart citrus, and orangey scents. Delicious flavor of very sweet candy, slightly sour lemon, and orange fruit. This has a very smooth and full body. The flavors mingle very well and leave an amazingly pure, sweet aftertaste. Tripplebrew (503), Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA

It’s PHENOMENAL. So why should he burn in hell? THIS BEER IS WAY TOO GODDAMN EXPENSIVE!!!!! all of jolly pumpkin’s beers are. I’m going to go broke even buying this beer at wholesale. Love the excessive Brettanomyces. Love this Beer. Hate Matt Abdoney......not really.....but I should. Miksu (2241), Jyväskylä, Finland

Perfumed, grapefruity, appley and spicy aroma with hints of acetic acid. Spicy, clovey, grapefruity and appley flavor with dryish spicy bitterness. Great dryness and balance. Brilliant! | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 4, 2009 Bottle thanks to Timmy300. Pours a very appreciated Golden color approaching orange. Nice fluffy head that lasts forever. Nose is awesome, lemons, vinegar, funk, white pepper, some nice soft wood notes. Taste was slightly tart, a touch salty and the malts come through in the second phase. Sometimes with bretty beers, they just end up stupid dry with a cut off tail. This one goes on for a while with spicy noble hops coming out and balancing the slight lemony notes. Pretty interesting and glad I was able to try it. MrRain (437), O’Fallon, Illinois, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Jan 3, 2009 750ml bottle poured into a tumbler. JPOdC pours the color of grapefruit juice and is hazy with a very large head (think Duvel). As a matter of fact this beer was so anxious to live in my belly that it leaped from the bottle when I opened the cap. I like a good loyal beer. Good beer. Good boy. The aroma includes lemon, brett and body odor. Oddly enough, it works and I am not really known as a pit-sniffer. I do not think I have had a beer like this one before. It is highly carbonated like Champaign. It is extremely dry and has a lingering sour finish. The taste is woody, lemony and peppery. This beer reminds me of a gueuze in a way. This is an interesting beer and worth trying but the taste, in the end, just is not my style. I do not think the lemon sits correctly in the beer. saxo (3679), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark
