Bottle: Pours hazy golden with a egg white head. Nose is lovely of spices, yeast & fruits. A fine mix & balance. Sweet notes from the barrel. Super smooth mouthfeel. Some vanilla, dust, fruits & mould. Ends dry & crisp! Nice!

From 12oz bottle - extremely lively, took a while to open to (partially) avoid a foamy mess (same thing happened with a 750 mL La Roja last month - huzzah for bottle refermentation). Pours an almost opaque cloudy orange-gold with a big, sticky, white head of foam. Aroma is malty, with citrus, apples, yeast, spice, and pretty light hops. Very fruity, sour flavor - apples, citrus, coriander, and pepper, over a malty, yeasty base. A bit of bitterness and hops in the finish, as well as noticeable alcohol. Very tasty, now if I could just find a bottle of Jolly Pumpkin that doesn’t explode...

Mildly cloudy yellow with a medium white head. Aroma of grains, toasted malt, fruit, apple and citrus. Taste of apple, fruit peel, mild earthy hops and sourness. Body is somewhat astringent but an ok beer.

Bottle (75 cl) from Ølbutikken. Gushing bottle, pours hazy golden with a large white head. Fruity aroma with lemon and oranges, and some leather notes. Medium bodied, lively carbonation. Very dry and bitter. An Orval clone?

750 ml. bottle, batch #223. Pours a cloudy yellow color with a fizzy, white head. Aroma is citrus, apple, slightly yeasty, hay, and a bit of aromatic hops. Flavor is of apples, oak, citrus, sour and fizzy. Very active on the tongue. Pretty good.

Bottle shared by Crosling, thanks man. Poured a hazy golden-orange color with a moderate off-white head that slowly faded to a layer and left some decent lacing. Aroma of lightly tart yeast with some soft citrus fruit (clementine, tangerine) and some light spiciness. Lightly tart entry with some moderate citrus fruit (lemon, orange peel) leading into a funky yeastiness, finishing with some lightly spicy, floral hops. A bit of an odd flavor in the finish that I can’t put my finger on. Biting carbonation and tart character. It’s a decent beer, my only complaint is that everything from JP seems to have the same flavor profile with their funky yeast.

Bottle (Batch 292) Pours a nice cloudy golden with a pillowy white head. The aroma has dry yeasty character, lemon peel, white pepper, coriander, oak and mild spicy alcohol. Nice aroma. The palate is fluffy with a very peppery flavor. Dry yeast has an apparent presence along with lemon peel, mild oak and some alcohol. The finish is peppery and dry. The flavor gets a bit homogenous in it’s pepperyness, along with too much apparent alcohol, but it’s still solid.
