16/10/2009. Batch Batch 369. I am not worthy, really I’m not... this beer makes me wonder what the hell I’m doing brewing "drinkable" hoppy ales and Belgian table beer. Imagine Duvel aged in oak barrels - you’re not even close! Anyone who gives this less than 4 should be taken out the back... you don’t want to know what they do to the people out back!

This was a cloudy, yellow beer with a small covering of white bubbles on top. The taste is spicy, fruity, and has lots of carbonation. It was also slightly acidic, and reminds me a bit of champagne. The taste also had a slight bit of sour but not much. This was my second Jolly Pumpkin beer and I enjoyed it. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 05-29-2007 15:37:26

Bottle, 75cl, #275. A real mega-gusher where the centiliters ending up in the glass is hazy, yellow-orange in color, and topped by a big, white head leaving lacings. Pale malts, wheat-notes and some spices nicely mixed with a funky, citrusy dominating aroma. The flavor is citrusy and funky, spiced and slightly peppery. A bit sour on the palate, dry and effervescent. Long, citrus-bitter finish. Beautiful! 090720

Pours hazy golden, with a medium white head, very fine and lasting lacing. Aroma of hay, farmyard, biscuit, citrus and pineapple. Medium body, slightly tart. Flavor of pineapple, biscuit, caramel, bubblegum, citrus, spice, funky with some hay notes.

Exploding bottle - third time this happened - Pours a golden yellow slightly hazy with a white foamy head. Standard vinegar smelling aroma. Light crisp flavor with tart finish - nice mouthfeel but a little too muuch carbonation. Finishes a little bitter and crisp.

Bottle at Beer Tempel. Big golden body with foamy head. Oaky and floral nose, some cheese even. Taste is quite funky, with cheesy hops and lots of spiciness. But also quite sour. Overall it’s quite tasty but not really my thing.
