(Rating #1668)

Bottle: Poured a golden color with a nice amount of head. The aroma was sweet and sour with hints of orange and lemon. The flavor was excellent. Sweet and spicy, slightly tart with a dry finish. Overall, another great beer I’ve had from this excellent brewer.

25oz bottle. Had the older batches (oval label) and the newer batches (square label). Pours light, hazy orange with alot of spritzy bubbles. Awesome nose -- sour lemon, orange, spice. The flavor is fantastic, a bit more well-rounded with the older batches. Really balanced tartness, mild spices, wood, some light fruits. Too much carbonation. Overall, it’s an awesome beer.

750 ml bottle. Golden with enormous white head. heavily carbonated. Big taste - sour tartness (i could really taste the lemon) with a sweeter, citrusy finish.

2008 Bottle - Pours a sludgy opaque yellow (with chunks that make their way into the glass as well) and mine foamed over the lip. Aroma is all citrus and bread, flavour is spiced lemon, pepper and yeast. A very interesting beer, but not something I could drink all the time....definitely a fun experience....

Bottle. Aroma has cheese, yeast, some citrus and more spice. Hazy, yellow coloured with a good, white head. The taste is slightly sour/citric, a bit sweet and has yeast and spice. Well balanced, good brew.

Bottled from de Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Hazy golden color, thick rocky white head, quite some carbonation. Good spicy triple aroma, hint of hop and cheese. Cheesy taste of a saison, bitter of hop, spicy, bit peppery. Very nice stuff.

Hazy golden coloured, big white head, large chunks of yeast. Very spicy nose. Sour flavour with notes and fruit. Quite ok.
