Very dry. Mainly sharp citrus, wild yeast, and hops... with spice and pepper being noticeable. Thought it was a Flemish sour ale, because it is certainly more dry/sour than i expected. I’m finding this brewery puts out some very tart ales. Nice lacing, falls quick. Gorgeous, but for ranking within the brewery it falls below the elite. frylock (1026), Buffalo, New York, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 2, 2008 Hazy golden color with a small white head. Aromas of oranges, and oak with some earthy/floral yeast. Some herbal flavors accompanied by tangerines and some strong oak notes. Slight tartness leads into a peppercorn like spice and finishes with a woody dryness. Hudspart (371), Hudsonville, Michigan, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 30, 2008 Slightly hazy gold with a fairly big creamy white head. Lots of carbonation. Citrusy, fruity nose and a sweet, fruity flavor. A bit of orange zest, some vanilla, maybe a touch of plum. Solid mouthfeel with a lightly dry finish. Very tasty. campmonster (9), USA does not count | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Mar 27, 2008 Very unique. I tried two different batches and noticed differences. Pungent and champagne-like. Delicious. bdigital (591), Ft Wayne, Indiana, USA

Poured a murky orange with a massive white, meringue-like head. Spiced citrus, yeast, fine oak hints and some vinous tannins come through in the nose. Heavily carbonated and pleasant on the palate. Flavor follows suit, but with a bit more of the barrel coming through. Good stuff bebop329 (27), USA

Suprisingly refreshing first sip. Much more sour than I expected. The sour funk and sweet after taste blend nicely together. Grapes and citrus flavors stand out most. Yummy!
