Nice lacing with it. Subtle yeasty aroma. The flavor is a nice mix of yeasty and sour. A little thin on the palette, but this is quite tasty. TheBeerOrg (1591), Kentucky, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 2, 2008 Pours bright golden with a mostly maintained off-white head. Aroma of bubble gum, coriander, chamomile, herbs, and honey. Tastes of herbal grasses, acidic/lactic, bubble gum and estery tropical fruits. Medium bodied with lush carbonation. Elegant beer, but the acids get a bit much near the end. greenhorn1 (462), Mission Viejo, California, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 28, 2008 Major gusher, quite possibly the biggest (and most rapid!) gusher I’ve ever had. On to the beer. Having had many bottles of this, I am still really a fan of it. It’s a lovely hybrid of various styles. Big golden body, with a slight haziness, and a massive floating head. It’s got a strong aroma, Belgian sour plus heavily spiced blonde. This carries over and gives the flavor a rich profile, with yeast, funk, a bit of citrus, and some bite at the back. In some sense, it’s truly beyond category. JP, gotta love ’em. kmeves (1081), Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 22, 2008 Cloudy blond color with a thin white film head and nice lacing. Aroma is very fruity/spicy sweet with a very nice malty background. Flavor is full of berries, spice, tangy citrus and noticable yeast. Medium body, sticky texture, lively carbonation. Finishes a lond spicy and sweet. I am really starting to love Jolly Pumpkin! Syd (911), Waconia, Minnesota, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 21, 2008 Bottle pours a floaties infused hazy gold brown with a very clingy head - decent lace. There is something like mustard powder under the cap and inside the bottle at the top. Hmm... The aroma is quite funky, wet leather, floral, lemon tart, and yeasty. the flavor is quite tart, spicy, sour, and just very bretty. The palate is carbonated and nice. Very quenching. Overall, a fine funky brew. pantanap (1375), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 14, 2008 Updated: Feb 16, 2008Tart, spicy, and funky sour rubber aroma, I’m enjoying the nose while I let this warm a little as I had it in the fridge about an hour too long. Has a spritzy slightly explosive palate with a medium body present on the tongue. This has been my only Jolly Pumpkin and I’m impressed at how close they come to the Lambics and Geuezes in flavor. Tangy-sour and barnyard sweat with a mild grapefruit aftertaste is very pleasing. A fine beer.
