12oz bottle, thanks to Ughsmash for this want list extra! pours a dense muddy amber with soapy head. aroma has a very nice sour oak with undertones of sour cherries. intial taste is more like a sour la roja but where’d bam go? oh there it is, the finish has that bam dryness and spicyness. flavor is sour, lots of american oak, brett, mild spices in finish, sour cherries, dark fruity yeast, and semi-sweetness from the malts. mouthfeel is fizzy and smooth. this is a real treat.4.0.

5/22/08, aged 2 and half years. pours hazy golwing amber with creamy off white head. aroma is wonderful, very aged la roja esque, touch of cinnamon, funk, oak, vanilla, the nose has a zesty quality to it. flavors are oaky vanilla, sour cherry, then it gets fizzy and falls off the palate a bit. but this is still extremely tasty. i love it. 4.1.

750mL bottle. Murky dark orange-brown with a small white head. Acetic tartness with acidic fruit and some spicy yeast character. Soft phenolic must with oak and cherry skin flavors. Vanilla and residual wet hay in the finish with a complex spicy and fruity yeast ester character. Mouthfeel is a light medium, somewhat dry.

750 ml bottle thanks to Styles! First, the bottle was a gusher - likely due to the Bam Biere in the mix. The beer pours to a really hazy brown body with a thin white head. The aroma is nice. Very sweet and tart with cherries and oak. The biere de garde also has a minor presence. Very unique, delicious, and sour. The flavor is tart cherries, sweet chocolate-like malts. Rich, tart, medium-full bodied. Delicious!

Bottle shared by Blake. Cloudy brown body. Winey, pissy oak aroma with a raspberry-sweet foundation - the oak works well here. Well-done brett infection - tangy citric acid over sweet cherry and caramel. Lasting sour, bitter finish. This is some good beer!

Hazy rust, bubbly off-white. Sour wheaty tasty malt aroma, sweet cinnamon bready cherry, dry lemon and green spices. Subdued, flattish flavor, sour fruit, dry yeasty lemon rinds, oak. But damn good. Light sour, well crafted and tastey.

pours a hazy brownish copper like colro hints of oragne w/ a nice tan head and some good lacing.. Bottle gushed all over my damn hand. Sour funky aroma definate bret infection some mild oak notes a decent amount of carmel and some light fruits and vanilla. Palate is well coated lingering.. quite nice.. The flavor is very mellow bourbons and oak followed by some sour fruits and light carmels. Very nice barreling notes on top of a good flemish taste. Delicious.
