Commercial Description:
A special sour blend of Bam Biere and La Roja. Persequidor, a new sour blend chosen from select barrels to reflect our never ending pursuit and passion for perfection in every bottle. Cellared a further six months before being offered for sale. As always; unfiltered, unpasteurized, and naturally delicious. Not a single beer, but rather a journey into taste!

Bottle from Chris (styles) Thanks. Quite the enigma of a beer really, nothing to really go on. It was good, but without putting anything thought into what I was drinking and smelling I didnt get a whole lot out of this beer. It looks like muddy creek water without much of a head. Actually, it looks identical to La Roja. Smell is heavy on the bourbon notes with some vanilla and a little sour cherry notes. Taste is sweet and sour and similar to drinking a whiskey sour without the lime flavor. A pretty interesting and very complex beer. Not sure if age will help it, it certainly couldnt hurt to tone down the bourbon some. As per usual, this brewery doesnt disappoint.

750ml - Aroma of bourbon, carmel malt, bready yeast, oak and spice. Pours hazy brown with a small head and good lacing. Flavor matches aroma. Palate is thin and a little sour. I like it better than La Roja, but not better than Bam. Interesting in it’s own right and worth seeking out.

Bottle. Thanks to Hopdog. Strong sour, oak smell with a cloudy body and decent size head resting on top. Great blend of flavors of oak and slight lemon taste. Very smooth and great aftertaste. Cheers!

Bottle... This beer rocks!... Hazy burnt orange ale with a large, fluffy, cream-colored head. The aroma is an eddy of caramel, cabernet, funk, lemonade and bourbon. The flavor is vinous, acidic and lightly bitter with additional notes of caramel, lemon, bourbon and mild alcohol warmth. Medium to full-bodied with an astringent mouthfeel and subtle carbonation. Tart, lightly bitter, sourmash finish. World class beer from a world class brewery!

750ml bottle acquired in trade with Styles (thanks!). Poured a deep and cloudy orange color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of brett, funky, leather, green apples, and cherries. Tastes of fruits, caramel, oak, and some citrus. Nice tart and lightly sour finish. Lacing left on the glass. Yet another winner from JP!

Foggy brown with a thin tan head. Aroma is wild berries, bubble gum, slightly tart with pineapple. Taste is mild tartness, lemons, grass, light yeastiness to it.

Hazy, orange-brown body with a filmy, sudsy white head. Ripe Bretty nose with cherry and citrus pith tones. Flavor is like black and citrus tea leaves. Medium acidity, accentuated by the depth of dryness. Very quenching and very nice. Great twist on the Bam Biere.
