Commercial Description:
A special sour blend of Bam Biere and La Roja. Persequidor, a new sour blend chosen from select barrels to reflect our never ending pursuit and passion for perfection in every bottle. Cellared a further six months before being offered for sale. As always; unfiltered, unpasteurized, and naturally delicious. Not a single beer, but rather a journey into taste!

Another awesome JP from northernbrews at the C&P Throwdown. Pours a super cloudy caramel color. Super thick foam ring head that stays for the duration. Nose is big with lots of wood and apple and cherry. Some sourness on the nose but nowhere near what I was expecting. Taste is a little watery perhaps because any hops from the Bam Biere blended would be long gone by now and to be frank I dunno when this was bottled. Quite tartly sour up front with no vinegar, lots of apple and cherry in the middle and finishes with a very woody note and a shot of acidic sourness. Apple and cherry skin flavor lingers in he mouth. Amazing but not as good as La Roja Reserve.

This is the real deal!
Pours a light copper in color with only a slight head that is quickly gone. Smell is oak, vanilla, slight bourbon and the much loved JP funk. The taste is spot on same as the smell. Good mouthfeel with just the perfect amount of carbonation. An absolutely incredible creation. Thanks to Ron for making this gem, and Chris for sending it to me!

On tap at Stone. Hazy golden yellow with creamy white head. Slightly sour aroma with fruit and strong oak notes. Sweet shite wine chacter transitioning to a fruity sourness and finishing with a great wood taste.

Bottle... This beer rocks!... Hazy burnt orange ale with a large, fluffy, cream-colored head. The aroma is an eddy of caramel, cabernet, funk, lemonade and bourbon. The flavor is vinous, acidic and lightly bitter with additional notes of caramel, lemon, bourbon and mild alcohol warmth. Medium to full-bodied with an astringent mouthfeel and subtle carbonation. Tart, lightly bitter, sourmash finish. World class beer from a world class brewery!

Cloudy, coppery-hued body, with a very small lacing of froth along the sides of the glass. A nice aroma, indeed: sweet malts, filled also with vanilla, great woodiness, raisins. The flavor is also quite delicious, the woodiness abounds, and there is a distinct, wine-like/fermented grape character.

12 oz. bottle from Ughsmash (thanks, Jason!) - cloudy copper pour, with minimal head, but lasting lace - wonderfully inviting, warm aroma of wet oak, over-ripe apples, earthy, damp, musty smells, nutmeg, cherry skins, some background herbal notes - flavors of oak and vanilla up front - semi-tart apples and grape skins follow, along with a light spice profile - not all that sour, but enough to satisfy you if that’s what you’re looking for - more light woodiness and a light buttery/nutty quality - some winter/mulling spices make their presence known - quite a nice blend, and one in which the best qualities of both beers are showcased - one of the best JP beers I’ve had.

bottle sampled at the beach. Wow this is one great beer. Moderately sour with a nice vanilla and oak finish. Excellent.

Hazy rust, bubbly off-white. Sour wheaty tasty malt aroma, sweet cinnamon bready cherry, dry lemon and green spices. Subdued, flattish flavor, sour fruit, dry yeasty lemon rinds, oak. But damn good. Light sour, well crafted and tastey.
