| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 1, 2009 Pours pale gold into a tulip. Bright white fluffy head with good retention recedes leaving spotty spiders. Orange, pear and apple funk aromas. Crisp sour apple upfront flattening out into a lasting marshmallow wheat finish. I’m not getting any hefe... ilovedarkbeer (1367), Dallas, Texas, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 27, 2009 Pours a deep straw color with a large foamy white head. Lemon, wheat, yarn, canned pineapple, hints of oak, and little spice. Faint bit of sourness. Mouthfeel is extremely lively and somewhat acidic. Medium length finish. Very enjoyable. I was expecting something funkier and also, this missing that rubber element I like in hefes. Despite all of that this is still delicious. drfabulous (1268), Columbia, Missouri, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 25, 2009 Nice brett aroma. Taste is tart and apple. Yeast is driving everything here. Wheat hidden under much of the yeast and I like that. Some Chardonay lingers. Taverner (865), San Ramon, California, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 9, 2009 Bottle from Perry’s @ Livermore. I really like this one. Right off the bat there’s some brett funkiness in the nose and aroma. Nose is said brett, and must. Pours a cloudy light straw yellow with lots of head. Flavor is a nice refreshing sour and clean experience, with notes of brett, grass, lemon, and wheat. Finishes clean, and dry. michael-pollack (2723), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 9, 2009 750ml Bottle: Aroma of wheat, lemon, light grass, light clove, and hints of Brett and funk. Poured yellow/flaxen in color with a medium-sized, rocky, off-white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Cloudy. Very sparkling. Flavor is light to medium tart. Tastes of citrus, wheat, tart fruit, light Brett, yeast, slight banana, slight funk, and some spices. Medium body. Tingly texture. Lively carbonation. Funk, wheat, and Brett finish is ever so slightly dry. Not really a Hefeweizen, but still nice. hombrepalo (779), Chicago, Illinois, USA
