thewolf (3180), Kolding, Denmark May 6, 2008 Bottle @ YNWA, Kolding.
Pours golden with few, but rather large floaties. A big, creamy off-white head. Aroma is light, some fruity estery yeast notes, quite sweet with a slight raspberry tone. High carbonation, but still rather oily (from the high ABV). Sweet flavour, quite vinious, very thick malty and with a good deal of yeasty flavours. A bit too much alcohol for its own good, otherwise nice.

Pale orange, poured with floaty bits as I wasn’t careful. Simple hoppy aroma, soft and sweet, a little creamy, some citrus. Zingy zesty fruit-cake taste, very clear bitter noble hops too. Quite exciting at first. Alas it doesn’t improve as it warms, in fact it gets a little flat and dulls a bit. NoiZe (746), Zeist, Netherlands Jun 9, 2008 Hazy orange colored brew. Sweet and fruity aroma. Flavor is fruity, citric and a bit sweet. A bit herbal. acrdz (4084), Pennsylvania, USA Jun 4, 2008 I saw this labeled as maibock. Nose of coriander, hay and perfumed clove, obviously not maibok. Chewy but light, with a flavor of sweet candy sugar, mild fruit and heavy coriander. JoeinUccle (601), Brussels, Belgium May 19, 2008 Sweetish blonde with character but lacks balance. Drunk on draft at the Wildeman. Pours pale gold with decent white head, receding. Sweetish, lightly hoppy nose, fruity and floral. Mildly sweet with cidery-peachy notes, going into a moderate bitterness with a touch of alcohol showing through. Meh. MIBRomeo (1832), Wisconsin, USA May 18, 2008 light golden pour big white head thick lace. Belgian yeast and bread sweet candies, very nice blonde style. Nice easy palate. Good flavor, bread is light, hints of grain finishes with sweet sugars touch of grass in the finish. Suggests a mild hopping, nice and easy to drink, would make a good session ale if not for the 7%.
