Pours as it should. Murky medium brown with a tall, long lasting off-white head. Nice banana nose. Sweet malt start with a big wheat bite at the end. A smooth easy drinking Dunkelweizen.

Poured cloudy brown with a thin tan head. Aroma of yeast and clove. Taste of banana, clove and yeast with a hint of sweet malt and caramel. Not too shabby for the price.

Has a sweet toasted wheat aroma with a hint of banana. Pours a hazy light brown color with a tan hue, thick biege head, and too difficult to see the action. Lots of banana and toasted wheat taste with mild esters in the finish. Light/medium bodied, watery/resinous feel, with lively comfortable carbonation. What a deal at TJs and it’s OK to mix and match.

Bottle. Clove, bananas a hint spicy. Nice full aroma. Creamy light tan head, a little lacing. Hazy orange brown color. Flavor is nicely tart with a sweeter bready malt body. Not bad, a bit of an over carbonated bite on the palate, fairly light bodied.

one of the best for the price. I got a sixer at trader joe’s for 6 bucks. puts more expensive beers to shame.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy amber with a one finger cream head. The nose is sweet caramel, toasted brown sugar and banana bread. Taste is toasted nuts, caramel malt and spice with a slight sour wheat finish. Medium mouth feel. Not bad – easier drinker.

Hazy tan-to-brown color with a lasting bit of foam on top. Light bready, yeasty aroma with a hint of sweetness and spiciness. Flavors were rich and full, a dunkelweizen. I’ve had about 10 six packs of this beer before finally rating it. It has everything you’d want in a good dunkel--dark roasted malts, sweet fruity esters, a nice bready/yeasty quality. Easy to drink, refreshing, awesome. I love this beer. And it’s only $6 for a 6 pack!!

12oz bottle from TJS poured into a white wine glass.. Pours very nicely with a thick and murky brown body. The head is a nice medium size but fades rather quick. Aroma is strong banana esters, slightly brown bananas. Its got a of yeasty doughness working there as well. Taste is similar, the esters are mellow and do not overpower but are strong. Very easy drinking and spot on for a dunkel weizen, not sure why the ratings are so low. I will be picking up a sixer of this next time.
